Those are guitar tablature editor/viewer/player. Not an amplifier simulator. But the only thing keeping me from using Tux Guitar is that it doesn't have HiDPI support.

I recommend this, it's like a diet photoshop. Less buggy than other linux photo editors.
Although nothing beats TUX paint
