Why did you root your phone for no reason?
Root is fucking nothing, you have to install a custom ROM. It's going to have root anyway.
Now install gentoo via chroot
Look for a custom rom that runs clean 7.1. 5.1 is absolute shit compared to it.
>t. comming from 5.1 and jumped to 7.1
Install Xposed repository, them install YouTube background playback and YouTube adaway.
Next install greenify to hibernate apps so you don't waste battery. Install adaway for system wide ad blocking. Emoji switcher if you want to switch emojis, I like emojione.
had a moto g lying around, thought i should fuck around with it
which one?
i will install linux but debian
no xposed on that
thanks for posting the only proper reply, i will check these out
You're welcome. I should mention the only apps that need Xposed are the YouTube apps I posted. Also, you need to download fdroid to get adaway.
Two other apps you should look into are SD cleaner, which deletes unused files on your phone, and titanium backup, which backs up apps on your phone. It makes it so much easier in between flashing custom ROMs (if you decide to go that route, lineageOS seems the best option).
revert back to superior 4.4.4
stick it up your ass
download Titanium Backup
download ROM Manager
Flash lineage OS and Pico gapps for 7.1
Install f-droid
Install clover
You'll have to root it again after installing a new ROM
Congratulations, you have a dedicated shitposting device.

>Pico gapps
>gapps
enjoy you're botnet
There are some apps I need from the play store.
download from apkpure
Yalp Store
Does it automatically update and backup your app library?
any way of removing gapps without using a new ROM?
Titanium Backup
how?
Could've easily figured it out yourself
dont have TB installed yet xddd
Get an app that helps you browse through SharedPreferences and sqlite databases of all your installed apps. Just for fun.
automatic updates are the most fucking cancer thing about stock android
