First for new strap, so stiff :(

Should I wear my ap offshore diver daily?

Why not?

I kinda like the field watch.

I like the dial user.

Also are those Seamasters actually waterproof?

its large and the royal oak case attracts scratches very easily. and its not that understated

Lol hell no

...

Did you bought the 44mm one you dumb dumb?

Why are they called Seamaster then?

...

Are any of these watches $0?

no. I have the diver (42mm)
its large height-wise too. its high on the wrist, really thick. ive knocked it on desks plenty and the dings really show on the bezel

...

desu if you should know before buying an offshore that that case will get knock everywhere. If you like it then just wear it daily, normies will give compliment just because it's big, scratches give the watch more character.

>normies will give compliment just because it's big
honestly the only watch that normies will comment on is a Rolex from my experience, nobody knows what the hell ap is

Normies will compliment anything that's big and have funny color on them, they will probably think your AP is a fancy g-schock desu

>tfw no-one compliments your $20K watch

hahah this

>be me, wearing Panerai 005
>"hey is that a diesel"

The point is fifty year old watches should not be counted in for water resistance.

I've been complimented more on my seiko than my omega. I like that more, actually.

it is a strange phenomenon surely

why waste 100s of dollars on branded watches when you can get pic related for like $3 which does the same thing

>printed subdials
oh my god

I can pawn it if I'm in some strange place without money.

this thing still works like a charm after 5 years even i throw it around all the time. lorus watches are the best cheap watches

Will you protect her smile?

I drive a 1.6l Ford Escort with optional front electric windows.

>That mole
>Wear 2 watch

>2017
>not wearing two watches with two watch faces at the same time

Remember plebs. Go Patek or go home!

where can i buy this

You don't have 90,000 pounds.

I hear Eminem has one. You can ask him.

What's with rappers and big, gaudy, gold watches?

Pays all that money, doesn't go any faster than an Invicta.

Careful with that edge

Hey guys

It's kinda part of the job

Is this real life?

Do you even know how many edges I own? Try again, sweetheart.

you deserve it for wearing a panerai

If they didn't over priced their watches like crazy, most people wouldn't have shit on them, what a shame desu

It's funny how many business cards I get thrown at me when I wear a Patek. People who drive yachts for a living telling me to keep in touch, that sort of stuff.

But they are bland, some even ugly.

I wish they would restock that hat.

I could say the same about any brand.

Yes...?

Bump

Exhibit was pretty cool was it not? Good think someone took pictures because I don't have a single one.

That is the perfect watch desu. 5116 Master Race.

Where can I get watches at $ 0???

i would if i could afford one

one day i'll be able to afford it

rocking seikos/orients in the meantime ...

It looks painfully boring imo. Inb4 "muh simplicity".

Yes. The other calatravas are rather bland. But this bezel makes it something special.

There are two types of people in this world. People that like the Calatrava and tasteless plebs.

Dufour's simplicity is miles more interesting than that particular calatrava, so no. There's a way to do simple watches right.

Oh yeah I like the enamel dial Simplicity better than the Calatrava as well.. too bad it's an order of magnitude more expensive and can't even be purchased. I wouldn't say miles more interesting... Just slightly different design philosophies. I think the Simplicity is the most perfect watch ever made but that doesn't mean i don't love the Calatrava as well.

That's just the original calatrava design, there are so many modern variants.

What do you guys think about this?

Question for brits here.
How likely am I to be mugged? I'm about to start uni in the UK and I've been told not to bring my expensive watches with me. I really want to bring my VCO, though.

How do you rate this Sup Forums?
it was a gift on my birthday.

...

The tachometer starts at 60 or 400. Stupid

Is the Citizen Grand Complication too complicated?

People that buy this watch are clinically retarded.

Very unlikely.

Most watches are stolen by burglary or by someone you know who know what you piaid the watch. Not some random idiot off the street.

Fuck me that's one ugly watch.

Yeah that's what I thought. Although what I'm pretty sure there are gangs in london that specialise in snatching watches from tourists wrists in edgware road. I know because it happened to a a lot of people from my country including people I know

That's pretty good value for money.. anyone ever handle one of these?

Swiss Army Watch

>buys an offshore
>complains that its large

don't buy nigger watches then, you stupid fuck

my favourite Panerai is a limited editon...like every fucking watch they produce. It's become a nigger brand like uboat or invicta but i still love the watch

yes, but those brands would be mostly chinese "Minimalist" brands. pateks designs are utter shit honestly. The movements might be great, but if its boring to wear then what's the fucking point?

Oh but your skx is designed real well isn't it? fucking pleb.

>someone made a design that's actually unique.
>"plebs, buy a patek with no distinguishing features at all."

>assuming i'm going to shill the SKX meme
>meme movement from watches at a quarter of the price

try again fag. just because you lack any taste doesn't make that the case for me

if you go to uni in london then you'll be mugged for it most likely. what the fuck is a VCO anyway?

it's all the memes of modern watches combined into one singular shitpost of a piece. well done citizen, you memed us all

>i'm a longines legend diver but i'm a flieger pilot piece

what the fuck is that design? It makes no sense

Are smart watches a meme?
What is patrician cyberpunk watch?

Well Edgware road is where all the rich arabs hang out so if you were going to target people with expensive watches that would be the area.

> Pateks designs are utter shit honestly

One day you'll reach puberty and regret saying that.

> what the fuck is a VCO anyway?
I'd guess at a Vacheron Constantin Overseas.

Your poor taste is unsalvageable.

>pateks designs are utter shit honestly.

Jesus fucking christ.
Consider me trolled.

yeah definitely dont wear that around london

>actually liking the SKX
wew lad

>thinking this even counts as a "design"
unlike you, i don't like something just because i'm told to

well what do you wear

I don't like the skx at all its a piece of shit and its ugly .. you just have poor taste.

not everything is aesthetic and pretty colors.. how you are on a technology forum and not able to distinguish the technological merit of PP is beyond me.

No one told anyone to like Patek Philippe there are tons of prestigious watch companies and everyone gravitates to the companies that suit their taste. Patek is simple and elegant. I like that.

i said the movements are great, but the case design is bad, which it is (ie there is no case design).

if the movement is all you care about then they are the best. However, one of the the other highly respected brands top watch, the AP Royal Oak has a very "meh" movement for the price, and the focus is the case and the finishing.

Surprised they let you have anything sharper than a crayon.

They do have case design! I and many others like their designs. Simple designs like the ones they make are not at all easy to pull off. That is why the wealthiest people on earth have been buying them for over 100 years you fucking intolerable pleb.

i just feel like its either a status symbol to show off to other rich fags, or its the movement you care about. i don't see why anyone with an appreciation for design would like one. However, you obviously have your reasons

>implying wealthy people care about anything other than status symbols in watches

i don't have offshore money, so telling you what i wear wouldn't provide an alternative
