An installation CD?

Is this a good distro to start with?

If you can get through the install, yes.

The disc of source magic, a magical artefact meant to grant gifts and immense fortunes.

no

Take a look at the pasta and see if you fit:

Wizards assemble !

Advanced users of GNU/Linux (and I mean advanced), remember to try Source Mage GNU/Linux. True source-based distribution, and (in contrast with Gentoo and Arch) is:
Free from obfuscated and pre-configured code.
Fully committed to GPL, uses only free software (as in freedom) in their main package.
With even the documentation licensed as FDL.
Without 3rd party patches, sensible defaults or masked packages.
Doesn't need obfuscated python libraries, only bash.
Use clean dependencies as they came from upstream developers, which by the same provides instant updates.
Can heal broken installs.
Can also use flags.

Do you like Arch Linux's AUR? Do you like Gentoo's portage (or ports-like) package manager? With SMGL's "sorcery" you get all that. Making new spells (packages) not found in the grimoire (repository) is easy sourcemage.org/Spell/Book

Bash hackers welcome! Come and join sourcemage.org/

I'd just like to point out that this hat is from mlp and therefore this rare stallman is technically against the rules

In other words, delet this

Is not even remotely suggested or relatable.

What do you anons keep on your usb drives? Thinking about installing two live systems on a usb so I always can boot into a working system.

Best operating systems are Linux Arch and Microsoft Windows.

Was thinking the same, about a full collection of forensic tools and for pc recovery purposes. Obviously network stuff like nmap, but also photorec.

>two live systems
why do you need more than one?

One for recovery/data rescue, and another for debugging.

You can cram all that in a single one with no problem.

Sorry but if It's not on osdisc.com it's trash

nigga you serious?
