>fancy giving Go a try
>install it from homebrew
>VS Code detects this and automatically recommends the Go extension
>also recommends I install the Go lint package, offering to 'go get' it for me

Wow, what a great feature. I sure wish Vim had this.

Can it be added to vim?

I was just about to ask a similar question and you answered it for me. Didn't know I was right!

vim or gtfo

because it inserts ms telemetry in your code for you without you even knowing
>tfw the botnet cares about me

Well at least with vim you can Help poor children in Uganda! [\code]

isnt that a debian thing

Wait what wrong with spacemacs

Pretty sure it's an upstream thing. vim.org has information on it.

you are talking about visual studio. this is vs code, it has no telemetry, only a link to twitter or whatever Sup Forums spergs about.

>turn it off in the settings
>compile it yourself
The possibilities are endless.

Are the configuration files vcs friendly? Can it edit remote files?

I love vim because I can make it exactly the same anywhere I need it.

>Are the configuration files vcs friendly?
yes, they are json

>Can it edit remote files?
yes codepen.io/ginfuru/post/remote-editing-files-with-ssh

this

Can fucking emacs run mutlithread yet

I could probably set aside a day or two and learn how to use vim or emacs but 2bh I can't be arsed and literally everyone I've talked to who uses it is a pretentious faggot about it (vim users more than emacs users though), so I'll stick with what just werks

I suppose at least you're not using plain Notepad.

>ugly
>winblows only
>no vim mode
why is this allowed?
