Nice surrogate penis, OP.
Also the AR is nice but it's a pain getting enough ammo for a decent day at the range.
What caps are those?
>gold colored bolt carrier
>floating barrel
>iron sights
wanna know how i can tell that weapon is just for show and never actually been fired?
Tai-Hao lavender.
wanna know how i know you dont know shit and never browse /k/?
>that whole post
Can you spend some of that gun money on new keycaps?
Explain?
>when gun actually fired, brass carrier will be dirtied after first round and look like shit the rest of the day
>no brass markings on the deflector from ejected brass
>free floating barrel but not using a scope
>tacticool attempt fails miserably
>meme BCG
Really nice rifle though
Just about anything is hard to buy when you're poor
alright lads, I'm looking into buying a tada68 as my first board. Is this a good starting off point?
yes
Yes
Problem isn't price so much as restricted quantities.
this is the right place to get it from correct? I'm confused since the main site seems to be out of stock
Tai-Hao PBT doubleshot purple
Embarassing desu.
The tada is just an oem keyboard. there is no main site to get it from. you can even get it from taobao for 60 bucks
My 2011 das kbd often times doesn't register some keypresses, but in aquatest it works perfectly. Is there any surefire way to test whether a keyboard is broken?
wat gun
hold down both shift keys and type:
THE QUICK BROWN FOX JUMPS OVER THE LAZY DOG
Can you read?
I dunno but it says Walter P99 on the side, maybe that's a serial number
The PP7 from Goldeneye.
So I have a va68m that I impulse bought in a group buy a while ago. I kinda don't want it, but I do need another board for at home.
Should I give it a whirl or sell it? Still haven't opened the box, but the packaging is a little busted up from shipping. Why do you anons enjoy your 68% or less form factors?
which kb is this?
Reverse image search says its the CNT-D3STRYR
You know exactly what that is. Cheeky monkey.
I just bought a Cooler Master MasterKeys Pro L for $88
How bad did I fuck up?
it's a good keyboard
>Budget
Less than 150 USD

Lenovo Y700 Keyboard.
I want it for gaymen and programming, btw.
hey OP, what are your thoughts on the new p320 tacops?
My first mech was a tada68 i bought in january
Every other mech is shit compared to it
Why did i have to buy the best one around straight away?
not able to find it on amazon, link?
how do you find keycaps for non standard keys like right shift on a tada68?
>$165 96-key layout keyboard
Thought?
Every non-trash keycap set has nonstandard modifiers in them as extra
But why would you change the best available keycap set?
>iso
>numpad
>for $165
Into the trash it goes
u wot m8
You can clearly see the plate and PCB support both ANSI and ISO.
>F keys
no thanks
>north facing LEDs
complete garbage
Just ordered a mk disco but I'm not getting it until the end of August :(((((
A shitty one because it doesn't have F keys
You can still upgrade to a matias keyboard, get topre and buckling springs for memes, acquire an ergodox
Ducky Shine, bigly.
Do you have a silencer? If not, there's really no reason to get the Tacops over the normal P320. It's also threaded in 13.5mmx1LH which is unusual in the US, so you'd probably need a new piston if you did have one.
>PCB support both ANSI and ISO
That's pretty trick, is that common with DIY boards?
I want this keyboard but I don't have money to buy it.
What to do
steal
Become a prostitute
More reasonable soltions to this problem?
>be poor
>spend money on a memes
You brought it on yourself
Sell your organs
Sell one of your guns and buy the keyboard.
How bout no
A guy near me is selling this DIY board
>75%
>BFACE B84 PCB
>Gateron Yellow, except...
>Gateron Blue for the F-row
>Orange led
>acrylic case
He's asking for $150. Worth it?
I'm kinda curious about the Yellow switches. Plus, 75% is my jam.
Get it from Taobao for the best price.
Get it from KBDFans if you are afraid of Chinese.
>Why do you anons enjoy your 68% or less form factors?
Everything I need (usual keys + arrows) minus the shit I don't care for (numpad + F-row).
Though to be fair, when we're talking about 68%-75% boards, the va68m is not what most people have in mind.
>still complaining about other people's preferences
Is this really the hill you want to die on?
Just bought this for $90
There are certain modifier-keys-only sets, which have a bunch of sizes, like the CMYW.
Not him, but I'm just not that into the retro aesthetic, man.
Also thinking about selling my 3-months TADA68 to get the new white one. That thing looks lovely.
ironic, i find it disgusting and the beige one pleasing
btw any tada like keyboard with f row around? thicc pbt and programmable is a must
Nice AR-15
Daily reminder that if you don't own an HHKB you're not a keyboard enthusiast!
apparently not
The closest I can think of is Vortex Race 3
Said it before, say it again now
>No Capslock key to remap into Hyper key + Esc key.
And you call yourself a keyboard enthusiast!
what's the advantage of having empty spaces in bottom corners?
literally just function + tab enables capslock. I think i've used capslock less than 50 times since I purchased the board two years ago. Why the fuck do you need to use capslock on a consistent bassi?
You get to live through the pain of not having keyboard shortcuts, shaping you into a more disciplined and pragmatic person with an esteemed character.
Read my sentence again, please.
You're missing the point by THIS much.
to put meme branding? what do you think idio
why the fuck do you need that function anyways? youre literally just a turbo-autist neet that obsesses over fucking keyboards. try going outside for once.
The Plum84 has the the same problem as the MF68.
It looks absolutely ugly without custom keycaps.
Plus, that rounded case. just no
Calm down man.
Don't go into a hobby forum and then deride the members of enjoying that hobby.
You're the one who is advocating for a keyboard with a unique layout missing a key that every other keyboards in the world have.
You're the snowflake here, not me.
should have gotten a superior AK or SKS
mom?
>It looks absolutely ugly without custom keycaps.
what's the matter, are you too poor to buy custom keycaps?
>Plus, that rounded case. just no
pleb
Fuck you faggot. I don't think you own a luxury wristwatch?
i have a caps lock key and i use it as enter instead, i do use caps lock sometimes but when i do i have both of my hands in a typing position so it's fine for me to have caps lock on a layer
caps lock literally serves no function except for twitter obsessed black people
>>hobby forum
you're literally on an autist forum for people with half baked arch installs that spend their days inside fixing xsession on $150 laptops. you're clearly just mad because you're poor and can't afford a decent keyboard. stick to used shit from craigslist or whatever you can win for cheap on ebay auction.
is it just me or does it actually look like dsa?
it is dsa
o shit... and not evem replaceable because of the fucked up keys like 1.5u esc
>TADA68 on taobao is only 60 usd
>I have free shipping
sauce please
It looks absolutely fine with 1u esc and del keys.
...
There is also a kit for 50$ if you want to use other switches than Gateron.
item.taobao.com
>have gap
>looks fine
pleb
Caps came in today. PBT really does feel great. The pictures don't do these justice; the lettering is so bright and crisp. Interestingly, they really accentuate the high pitched sound of the switches.
fugg, just noticed this. That's gonna annoy me for a bit. Is this kind of flaw normal in a cheap doubleshot cap? None of the others keys have it.
Yes, Ducky's doubleshot keycaps had the same problem.
Damn. Oh well, I'll get over it. Thankfully only one key has this flaw.
youre lucky. some users had it really bad like this guy
Damn, that's brutal. I'd be pretty pissed if I bought a $150 keyboard and saw that.
>best price
Enough with this meme. Unless you speak chink, you'll need an agent. That + shipping and you're already paying about $100, except you've now added a whole ton of unnecessary hassle.
Taobao is cheaper anyway
this, and kbdfans is trustworthy, and if you go through aliexpress (i'm not sure how myshopify works) you can get refunded if you have legitimate complaint even if the seller refuses
