Never play the same character twice

But then I'm not even a person anymore.

I pretty much roleplay an edgy 13 year old nazi poster and a pink haired antifa preacher at the same time, given my name.

For you

Different VMs for different things.

By only having one. It's real simple: NEVER post any real-life identifying information anywhere that is publically visible. Not on facebook, not on twitter, not on your email, not on your fucking domain.
If you can see it without logging into your own account, it shouldn't be linked to your real-life information.
If you need to make yourself public for any reason, use a different email and domain that aren't linked to anything else you do online.

You've probably already fucked up by having a facebook account, but keeping internet and real life seperate is pretty easy for those of us who don't have one. Just be mindful of where you put what information.

this asshole has upset me
I'm going to install fedora now

I use a password manager and sign up for each service with a disposable email.

come one now, lets stop exaggerating what happened.

He shouldn't have tried to ride through the protesters, but he wasn't riding like a madman.

also who is the Asian girl with him ? does she do porn ?

>He shouldn't have tried to ride through the protesters
They were blocking the road, that's exactly what he should have done. Good on (some of) the protesters for getting out of the way when he approached, at least.
What he shouldn't have done is rev his bike like an idiot for no reason other than to be loud halfway through, and then turn around to do it again. That's when it became harrassment.

Disposable emails sucks ass because you can't reset the password when the site admin leaks everything and you want to login again. Create alternative Tutanota accounts, it's quick and easy.

>your internet identities
i'm anonymous
i'm you and you're me

Make 3 email different accounts.

Use one primarily for personal/business. Use other two for internet funs. Never leave anything that would connect the three together. Not same user names, user icons, etc. Never mix the main email account with hobby email accounts.

Never give out your images to anything except strictly personal requirement or business requirements. Never use real name. Never reveal your email address to anyone. If you have to, use a fake email address that you can make online. Have a very secure password but one thats easily rememberable. Start with keyword phrases or even sentences. Mix multi lingual sentences.

Then who the hell are they?

I need help with the mechanics. Do you guys use plugins for different profiles?

Weirdos.

I don't have any. The most public thing I have on the internet other than my personal email accounts is my Steam profile, which is private and visible only to friends.

I keep a personal/business email that is tied to only YouTube, paypal, and my bank account.

Everything else I do online I run through a temporary email service and never use the same alias.

Most importantly I don't use any social media. If someone wants to keep up with me I give them my phone number and email address.

Well that's disappointing. Talk about a big letdown.

>He shouldn't have tried to ride through the protesters
Bullshit. If I see a bunch of lefty faggots laying down in the road I'm gonna slam my foot on the accelerator.

>he types furiously

>he types angrily

>If I see a bunch of lefty faggots laying down in the road I'm gonna slam my foot on the accelerator.
first get out of momma's basement and then actually buy a car

Thanks for the (You)

Who asked for your opinion in the first place? Not to say it's a technology board.

>Who asked for your opinion in the first place?
It's an anonymous imageboard I can post what I want, if you don't like that rëddit is more your speed

>He actually replied to himself
lel that's sad.

me

I have many names.

I bet i got more

So long as I'm a student I've got no reason for publicly giving my AFK identity online.

I'm not using Facebook as a RSS stream and I only use it to discuss with my friends on Messenger so long as they use Gmail and not ProtonMail or the Dark Internet Mail Environment (even if while Google processes my data they keep it privately on their servers; and I will likely buy a business Lavabit handle to set it up on a self-hosted server for them). And if I ever start a blog it will be on Freenet.

What's wrong with ProtonMail (assuming that wasn't a typo)

No. Because you're technically able to force us to read you doesn't mean you're welcome among us. This is just shitposting.

It's not open-source and they don't want to implement the DIME (which typo?)

I figured facebook doesn't actually delete anything so there's no point in 'deactivating' my account
I mostly just shitpost things

The point is that they hide it from others.

a race mixer attacks leftists.

:)
this good.
BUT ITS NOT Sup Forums technogly though
Sage.

>your internet identities straight?
>identities

That's the first step into fucking it up.

my gender on there is attack helicopter
nothing useful is posted there

What a defeatist attitude, the sooner you try and escape from the botnet the better. Even if they have 5 years of your info, why give them 6?

>doesn't mean you're welcome among us
this place is consumer electronics general anyways, funny how you're talking so high and mighty

best you can do is actually have a facebook account with innane shit, not even shitposting, just to blend in with normies.
I log from time to time on my account and like some music video and/or clean the feed and maybe add someone or erase someone.
The whole idea that you can play to be invisible in this day and age is a deluded faggot's fantasy. Just play along, look normal, and never mix your emails/usernames/avatars or link shit together you could regret.

Just so you guys know 95% of people using the internet won't do this and at least 2.5% of the people who do didn't follow it at some point in the past. I personally had 3 or 4 gmail accounts from the ages of 12-17 all linked to accounts I signed up for with my real name, even though I browsed Sup Forums. Once it happens, you can't take it back, so most people should just learn to not say offensive or racist things in writing online.

>this place is consumer electronics general anyway
no, read the sticky
