1) passive cooling are difficult to find because gamers think more coolers = more potent
2) 1050ti is difficult to find because they are trying to sell their 1060 and 1070 garbage

Yeah but why is nobody even selling this for a reasonable price??

try looking around ebay, I saw one for sale earlier, other than that I guess they just don't sell in the US or where ever you're from.

No, it’s because average gamers have to buy 1050 Ti’s since miners have taken all the 1060s and 1070s

Cuz it's $399 on amazon

I do own this card, bought some 3 months ago. It's good for what it is - silent. Just don't expect any more performance than from any other 1050 Ti.

I'm from Polando, bought it on a local amazon-like site. I still see a few offers there for a bit less than $200.

Wait for Nvidia Volta GV107 GTX 2050 Ti

It would be called the 1150TI
2050TI isn't coming for another decade

Because gaymers look at that and think it's ugly... Also "no fans, it will over heat"... They run all their fans max speed for that "performance...

palit only sell in asia and europe.

because (((they))) don't want you to have it

helps that the new batches of 560 are cooler with less tdp and doesnt need an active cooler what so ever
1050ti was dead on the water since 560 came

Just checked in germany

lol no, all 1050TIs have no 6 pin while alot of the 560s require a 6pin.

Infact every single RX 560 4GB in stock on newegg at this moment requires a 6pin with prices starting at $129.99 on sale with the ROG Strix toping out at $159.99

1050TI starts at $144.99

The Sapphire RX 560 Pulse manually overclocked barely edges out the 1050TI in VULKAN and that's a $215.77 card

You need a 6pin on the RX 560 for overclocking.

100% passive cooled is only good for adding a Noctua or some other low-rpm, ultra-silent fan and then reaching god-tier temperatures.
Had a 8600GTS passive... never again. But after adding a cooler on top by hand, oh my fuck it was the best cooled card I ever had.

Both the 1050TI and 560 sucks ass. I mean if you want to game, they are weak as shit. If you don't, then just use the iGPU in your CPU.

I game ultra on 1280x1024 >60fps with a 1050ti

looool
most new games don't even work with non-16:9/16:10/21:9 resolutions.

> inb4 640x480 is the only way to game

next gen is 20xx, educate yourself

I use 1280x1024 too, they just put blackboards around it. Essentially, 720p.

Yeah except most 1280x1024 displays are not 28".
Not saying it's unusable, but 1080p is so piss cheap...

You're talking about dpi in the 50s range. That would look awful. 1080p isn't cheap if you don't have money. Especially, when it means you now need a new gpu, because it can't drive it anymore. Also, that's assuming you can find a better display, those "cheap" 1080p displays are usually garbage.

>those "cheap" 1080p displays are usually garbage.
Dunno mate, I used the earliest Benq 1080p model that was cheap too. The colors did get washed out after 3-4 years, but that's 3-4 years. Changing to 1080p is worth it, no matter how shitty it is. If you do Photoshop / RGB as real work, just keep using the old display for that as a secondary monitor.

>gamers think more coolers = more potent
Well, it's true. the 1050 ti is a low power card for poor people.

I spend around five minutes per game with ini files and get $1000 dollar setup performance from a $500 pc

This card featured in Sinus Tech tips video? it had surprisingly good thermals (better than an actively cooled msi 1050, not sure if it was ti)

Also in PL, decent prices for that card. Where you do get your parts? I don't really speak the language so I get everything online.

>I game ultra on 1280x1024

you're an idiot

Nice argument, mate. Bet your parents are proud and you are fun at parties as well.

what argument? I'm not trying to argue, I'm calling you an idiot

You guys are fucking high. Honestly, just play on a crt and get it over with.

Not a bad idea really- if my 980s last another 20 years ill join you.
