Truly amds failures are due to shitposters and not a complete lack of ability to even match 1080 at a price point set 13 months ago.
They know the card will sell out even at that price point due to miners sucling amd's cocktail and cupping the balls with their tounge. Amd will produce a small run of vega, sell out of cards, call it a success, and move on to navi to compete with the up coming volta roll out.
You have to remember that amd only has until volta releases to dump vega cards since vega only just competes with current nvidia's line up. Once volta releases they need navi.
Volta is (maybe) fatter Pascal.
