redmeme note 4
No problems so far except trying to find a proper tempered glass that fits well and isn't complete garbage.

Redmi 1s with cyanogen
no big problems except battery draining.

For now, on the fence between a G6 or a Mi 6, to replace my cracked HTC M7. Was originally wanting the Oneplus 5, but since that thing turned out to be a shambles, the Mi 6 seems to be pretty attractive. However, no 3.5mm jack or expandable memory. The G6 is cheaper, has the aforementioned features, and probably will drop in price soon as a result of the V30 release, but its specs are shittier.

Wat do?

Redmi Note 3 Pro with Xiaomi.EU MIUI rom.

bretty good/10

>Rn3p
My only problem with it is the heat it generates when with more demanding tasks. I think the case i bought killed 2 sim cards in a month I guess due to the heat that couldn't escape. Now I use it without the case and it works perfectly fine for the last 6 months. Weird, really.

Weird issue. I'm and the phone never overheats even when playing shitty phone games or emulating DS, it's easy to check because a notification pops up when it goes above 40c.

I'm also using a pretty thick rugged case on it for enhanced grip.

I was planning on buying one until I found out I have to use botnet chink OS on it

Still better than americuck botnet OS tho

That's like preferring a nigger over a spic, you don't want either.

i just bought some $5 pistons

Yes but in this era you can only choose between botnet or no technology at all.

Redmi Note 3 Pro here m80s, still going strong after a year and two months
I'll wait at least a couple of gens of Remis before upgrading

Cheap Pistons are trash

5s plus reporting in. 6 months later, no problems whatsoever. In hindsight such a big phone is a pain in the ass but it'll still serve me for another 3 years.

>I have to use
No you don't, just install a custom ROM

With half the shit not working and overheating/battery drain

Mi5S here. Bought it after my LG G3 died, does everything I need, camera is pretty great! Pic related, the milky way taken by my mi 5S. Good screen, good battery too.

But I miss the slim top and bottom bezels of my G3 sometimes.

>t. never used a custom ROM

Just ordered a redmeme 4 note. Also proudly sporting a mi band 2

You took the Snapdragon version, right?

Mine is a yi 4k+.

Incredibly good.

Bought a redmeme note 3, camera is shit. Should've went with oppo.

So who's waiting for a Xiaomi? for $300 with snapdragon 835 with UFS 2.1 and at least 1080p?

You can even put 1.5GB of memory there, I don't care.
Just give me those two, UFS 2.1 is extremely important.

I bought a Redmi Note 3 Special Edition just yesterday. Does this particular version (the Special Edition) have official LineageOS support? I'm not sure that this is the kenzo version (is it kate?) listed on the site. The whole process is such a clusterfuck compared to installing something like rockbox.

In the mean time still waiting for the bootloader unlocker to activate

Special edition is Kate, but all Kenzo ROMs work for Kate too, you just have to flash some additional file(s) IIRC

Mi6

$500 DoA

I can buy a powerful CPU or GPU for that.

Where is it $500? The chink price is $360 and it often sells for $370-400 by resellers. Just wait and it'll eventually sell for $300.

This but I want one with a higher res screen, not 4k that's nonsense but something in between like 1440p

So you want a phone that just werkz? How about an iPhone you summerfaggot?

Just installed lineage os on my redmi note 4 SD yesterday. Loving it so far.

Paid about 250 Canadian dollars all in for the grey 3gb version with a clear silicon case (the holes aren't even fucking centred).

I haven't taken off the factory screen protector yet because I love the matted feel (oily glass is gross). Are there matted screen protector for sale?

Redmeme 4a here aka the poorfag's Xiaomi
Using Aokp ROM works perfect but with less features than EU ROM.

There's custom ROMs for the 4A?

Yes, Unofficial ROMs

Oh ok, didn't see any on XDA

Redmeme 4 Prayyme, the phone itself is perfect (except for the cameras that are a bit crappy), but AOSP MM ROMs have tons of bugs, apps crashing without reason and the last time I installed Deliveries caused bootloop, and logcat showed that some runtimes may be corrupt

Its girilla glass you sheeple. No need for protector

Fuck this meme

>gorilla glass is unbreakable

you're an idiot.

Note 4 doesn't even have "girilla" glass, you retard.

Mi4 with Lineage

>my volume down button doesn't work after one year of use.
>had to install Lineage because MIUI was so slow and shite
>reboots randomly for no reason
>back camera is 13mp, front is 8mp and it's still shit (shot pic rel yesterday)

Buy M8

Redmi 3 here
MIUI is shit, switch to Lineage OS and be comfy.
Worse battery but stll 6 hours sot

Redmi 4 Prime with latest MIUI.

Love the phone. Only thing that's a bit lacking is the camera, but for US$160 can't complain. And I don't mind MIUI at all.

>inb4 botnet
Rather the Chinese than the Americans, to be honest.

I got some $13 Piston Capsules

Where and when was that photo taken?

I have a Redmi 1s and a Redmi 4x, both with china dev rom, I love them

Mi Max 2
I was pleasantly surprised by the fact that It has less bloatwares than Galaxy or LG phones.

>Rather the Chinese than the Americans, to be honest.

this. people are too pro-Jewgle here

Redmi 4a. Pretty good for $80

That's quite impressive, I am not even sure my iPhone 7 plus can take the moon properly.

Redmi Note 3 Qualcomm, power button semi failing after 1 year, not a big issue, I replaced my S3 button like 3 times already.
Everything else is just perfect

I think it depends more on the location, everything inside or near a city can't see the stars like that, only in little towns or outright in the freeway

lel my redmi note 3g/first gen (2014 model) dead for like 5 months, but suddenly it boot today i can play and browse till charge, anyone could explain what happened?

gorilla glass is anti scratch only not shattered proof ...

umm use the fingerprint or flipcover?

I use the fingerprint to unlock it, but I need to lock it after using it, duh

Lineage just works for Kate. Everything is Kate friendly these days but most nougat roms suck for battery life

What's the advantage of the .eu meme?

>company I work for has a list of approved phones that you're allowed to get cleared for internal network use
>every single Xioami is blacklisted

Say it with me: Chinese Botnet.

What phone does your company allow?

iPhones and Samsung phones. You're not allowed to have them rooted either, which is a no-go for me. In order to get approved you basically hand it over to Infosec and they scan it and load it up with the corporate botnet suite.

Not even at least the Pixels?
Shit sucks

redmi 3
can almost get 4 days battery life since I don't use my phone that often

Handlet with mi2s. Wish they made another 4'3 phone.

Might give it a go, but I think it'll still suck ass compared to stock Android. The ram optimization is probably still very shitty, and I have the 2 gig version

No, it's ancient and shit. I'm already several generations behind, I'm not going to upgrade by a single gen.

Xiaomi vs Huawei?
Currently own a Huawei P8, looking for a change and a phone with more than 16GB of memory

thanks for help

>battery 100%
>go to bed
>wake up
>battery 60%
4000mAh battery ladies and gentlemen. please tell me lineage will fix this

i thought everyone used to rave about them?

The regular Pistons like the 3 and the Hybrid are great, the dirty cheap ones like the Fresh are trash, for the same you can pick various KZ IEMs

redmi 4x
everything is great except for the no proper custom rom support yet

Redmi 4 with the latest Xiaomi EU

Apparently, there's a huge problem with audio recording in videos due to noise cancellation (happens in other Redmis as well). Other than that and the subpar camera compared to my previous Lumia, it's a good device with great battery life.

Lol then buy a dumbphone for work
