ONE threadshitter is 40% faster than TWO intel xeon chips

>ONE threadshitter is 40% faster than TWO intel xeon chips

Why are Intel CPU's so fucking slow?

Who the fuck cares? Do you run benchmarks all day or do you care about real world performance?

ThreadRipper just uses glued together cores and doesn't deliver reliable performance in the real world, buy an Intel i9 instead.

>5.2ghz on 16 cores

This.

Now tell me that it isn't cooled on ln2.

This is on LN2, a 7700K can do 5.2GHz on air easily.

Nope, stock air cooler. They apparently didn't even have to use any thermal paste and it was still only running at around 40C.

Thank you user.

it was ln2

>comparing 4 and 16 core cpus
look at 16 core xeons, they can't even get above 4ghz

Intel optimizing their core designs for games, not server workloads

Enjoy your monolithic housefires with low yields and jew jizz™.

Found the Intel shill

>t. AMD shills that run canned benchmarks all day

Intel CPU's are for people who do actual work, not shitpost about their synthetic benchmark results all day.

Ring bus

>do actual work
>intel cpus are only better for games
It's literally Sup Forums the cpu

Are you guys even trying anymore?

Right, because whether or not you do work is dependent upon your CPU type. I suppose the brand of toilet paper you wipe your ass with determines your sexuality too.

...

Just wait for Cannonlake.

I compile Gentoo on my AMD cpu, shitstain

Do any of you even remember FX-9590? I can guarantee that ThreadRipper will run extremely hot and use more than 400W of power under load. Intel was the first to pioneer high performance desktop and server grade CPU's with impressive power consumption figures. You only have to look at the game changer that was Sandy Bridge to understand Intel simply does high performance and low power consumption better than the competition.

Intel has much better offerings in this segment and will continue to do so in the future.

There's nothing wrong with BINGBUS, stupid goy

intelcuck is desperate

Son..

You're a desperate little fuck aren't you?

Not when you have six cores or less apparently

Sure this is non oc numbers, but amd has twice as many threads and cores as intel

Yeah but Intel watts are lower than AMD watts.

pinnacle ridge when

Isn't that what Zen is?

I thought what is out now is "summit ridge"

Oh yeah. Fuck all of these samey-sounding codenames both companies are using for everything.

well you see the Intel Core Xeon(tm) technology CPUs have to be slow because they need to support ECC ram (dont worry what that means it's rather techy hehe, just know it costs $5000 per chip to implement) and other* important features. unfortunately to produce processors that are capable of gigaprocessing and supporting these features(tm) it costs upwards of $10000. let me remind you one of our unnamed competition literally MURDERS horses to produce the glue for their Lamezen** CPUs. We appreciate your continued support for our high quality products at Intel(tm)

lol where are the real life benchmarks? how does it perform in video games and video editing

100% better

I don't care about benchmarks for anything but stock speeds, not even a little. It does not matter to me and I don't care.

I do care that my system is stable and works. Those things are of value to me.

That a chip could run slightly faster if I risk random crashes and instability isn't even relevant, it's a really silly value-proposition. And everybody who's running servers or using their desktop for anything beyond shitposting and playing games understands this.

Benchmarks for anything but stock speeds don't matter.

someone said that the 2900 figure of the Alienware 51 Threadripper were fake.

Fake in what way? The results AMD showed off were around 3050, so it could possibly be higher.

Damn you're not even trying

It's already been confirmed fake.
