Probably some old Mediterranean city, so look in Italy and Spain.

He'll see a bunch of niggers and moors there instead of cute anime girls desu senpai

Literally Parga, Grecia.
This town looks pretty, I even purchased a 500 pieces jigsaw puzzle. pic related

Kiki's Delivery Service takes place in a mashup of Visby and Old Stockholm. (Sweden)

Porco Rosso takes place in Yugoslavia and Italy.

The rest of Ghibli works usually take place in 1960s, 1970s Japan.

Oh shit thats good

Both Howls and Laputa take place in Wales.

But Laputa the flying castle itself is based on a place in Australia.

Nausicaa seems to take place somwhere in central Asia.

colmar or strasbourg
(castle in the sky)

I know right, very pretty. Too bad they're drowned in unemployment

coastal villages on either side of the adriatic is your best bet

how about copenhagen

I live in one. Sadly I can't fly so where I'm at it just looks like depressing concrete.

Pic related, Kiki's.

Malta, it even looks a little like your picture

The bakery in Kiki's Delivery Service is based on a bakery in Hobart

Chile is the promised land you are looking for.

Pic related, Porco Rosso (his cove)

This is the Bakery Kiki's Bakery is apparently based on, in Tasmania.

This is the town Ponyo takes place in

Have been daydreaming the same thing. I know Spirited Away is based on some town in Taiwan. I just want to live in some kind of fantasy fairytale world.

What jobs are there in Chile/Argentina?

Taiwan. Spirited Away

I live on the Adriatic coast

Same jobs as in the US I'd imagine.

Switzerland

>You will never get to work at Studio Ghibli.

Is there any place more aesthetic?

Mining is big in Chile because of the copper industry from what I understand

>Kiki's Delivery Service
The bakery is in Tasmania, I went there and there were a lot of very excited japanese people around.

...

Is it as nice as it looks in pictures and Porco Rosso?

Sadly most Ghibli short films are lost too the ages.

>you will never live in a fantasy world

the coast yes. The cities are normal, except for Trieste which has a beautful centre.

The World is your oyster

i have about 12 thousand dollars saved up. should i buy a sail boat and tour the adriatic? im an experienced sailor

>Watch Ghibli films
>Always about growing up and finding your place in the world.
>I'm in my mid - late 20s and haven't done shit with my life and I'm all alone.
>End of Only Yesterday basically makes me want to kill myself.

I've heard the Italian side has a bit murkier waters because of the way currents work in the adriatic.

What town is that? It looks really nice there.

Feels bad

IKTF too well

Pretty sure thats Ichibankochi. Though the actual place Ponyo takes place I'm pretty sure is Yuge Island. (you can even see the winding road they drive along to go to the house)

Also they are basically right next to eachother (Ichibankochi and Yuge Island)

Thanks brah

>literally Hipster: The City

Literally this.

>In the books Howl is literally just a crazy guy from our world who uses modern technology that makes him seem magic in the medieval world of Sophie.
