Are there even any games that are W10 only?

xp and vista are too old for modern programs unfortunately

1. I didn't 'develop' it?
2. I wasn't brought in beforehand.
3. I wasn't brought in for ©®™.
4. I haven't been consulted either after release.

Go on?

It's pretty useful to have someone in that basically saved you from the demise of Win ME and its failures.

Especially when you're following the trail laid out elsewhere.

why do win threads on Sup Forums get a bunch of spammers who can't even into efficient spamming and literally wait for the post timer
is this the power of linux boredom?

That tablet UI/Metro shit is pretty useless on desktop, after setting everything up on day 1 of my install I don't think I've touched any Metro/UWP apps since.

But I can see why they'd have it, can't really navigate Windows classic apps with a finger very well, sucks that they're starting to actually deprecate things in favor of the shitty UWP "waste-as-much-space-as-possible-because-people-have-fat-fingers" variants though.

That's pretty much my only complaint, there's not really much else wrong with it (compared to older Windows versions) once you've set it up right.

Should I just buy 7 or 8 retail?

>>Control panel getting phased out

Wait, what?

UWP is a godsend though. It seems to be the default for UWP apps to have obnoxious interfaces, but it definitely is the future.

>Do I need to go on?
Please don't, 90% of your post is factually untrue, the other 10% can be fixed in 10 minutes by anyone with half a brain, we really don't need to listen to any more from you.

Wow.

How does that compare to linux?

Stared using XFCE.
It's 2000 levels of speed but it can look modern and is freaky customizable.

>Theming is shit
>Classic shell only does so much.

Bring back Classic Theme, and we'll talk, Micro$hit

That just use less ram cuz uwp version has less features than win32 version

UI controls are becoming huge because muh touch.
That's about it.

Hopefully someone figures out how to edit xaml in built in applications.
It would actually make theming incredibly easy.

Printer stopped working with creators update for whatever reason and there random hiccups every now and then and I'm one of those people having problems with performance with NVIDIA card. I downgraded to anniversary update and set it to defer updates and despite that it still downloaded and installed CU again. You can't trust anything with it.

Back on 7.

...

i have that shit disabled

Nice one. Here's your (You), boy!

It's good and that's weird for a Windows version

Everything.

Let's do the short list and name what isn't wrong with it. It's like asking what the difference is between an apple and a human.

What's wrong with discord?
Give me some arguments to argue with against people that hype it.

I still use teamspeak over discord, but you can't deny that as chatting software discord is quite good, right?
What is better?

hurr durr something which sells my data is good

1) no. it is true
2) no it can't be "fixed" that only seems like it
3) that it should be fixed is already worse enough.
