become neets

Make JoJo memes and trade them on the meme market.

Die in prisons.

If you don't make money for Mr Shecklestein you will be killed.

Rape! XD

Only one thing left to do.

Program. I aint even kidding

NEET.

but bots will also know coding and they'll do it better than humans

You will program bots then. There will always be something to configure, simple jobs will be made more difficult thanks to scale of operation. Meanwhile Im working 40/week as a programmer and most of the stuff I do should be automated already. Lets focus on that first

Shitpost on Sup Forums, play games and masturbate to porn while your robot mom brings you chicken tendies.

but that is not going to happen since you need humans to work shit jobs so they can buy stupid stuff, pay taxes, buy food and make money for da j00s, robots are useful for precision or repetitive task where a human will just fuck up or kill himself out of mental boredom, and even this is more cheaper that 'investing' in robots if you are not some top tier industrial company
>robots don't need money
>but robots don't need to buy stuff either
>now who will buy our shit products
>oy vey

It's happening already.

i don't know but robots taking over 'all' jobs sounds unrealistic

Same as before.
Robots won't change as much as you think and certainly not as fast as you think.

Overthrow the ruling class and become a worldwide leisure class.

That's what they said about google

ask the robots

Who said what about google?
How were they wrong?

The superfluous population will be culled.

I don't see robot taking over jobs like machining, welding, pipe fitting, etc... Theres just too many factors to take into account. We have a robot operated lathe where i work and sure it can run on it's own for a while however it can't measure the parts, it doesn't know when the tools break unless the machine falls into alarm, etc... Someone still has to watch over it. Also it's not viable for small lots of custom parts and the machine can't setup itself. I know a few of the big brand cnc machine producers have heavily automated factories however I'm sure they still have machinist to watch over them.

This

And even if you did have robots take over all those jobs, your still going to want real people to make sure that the robots are:
a. Functioning properly
b. Not inciting a robot uprising

To add to what I said, there are automated inspection solutions available however i'd assume it's capabilities are limited and they aren't fail proof. Another thing is that cnc machines get very dirty and gritty quickly. You would not believe where metal chips get. They can go a long time without maintenance however it isn't recommended because this can wear the machine down faster. Where i work, we don't do regular maintenance, and once there was so much shit in the tool magazine of one of our millings that the sensor fucked up and picked the wrong tool. It was programed for a 1/2" endmill and the machine picked a 5" facemill, it destroyed it and fucked up the vice.I doubt there be an engineering solution to keeping these things clean.

Watch ex Machina. It's sorta a plot device.(there's no answer given, btw)

It seems like a guaranteed income set up is gonna need to be put in place. Once automated drivers kick in(5-10 years), paired with electrical vehicles (way less wear and tear, fewer parts) you'll see something like 35% of people become unemployed. No professional drivers, and way fewer people manufacturing parts or doing maintenance.

Shit is gonna literally collapse the work industry throughout the world... And it's so close to happening that we'll probably start noticing it within 18-24 months.

While true, the number of jobs will still be way lower than before.

Mr Shekelstein has no use for you, as his robots are cheaper and far more effective.

I have no use for Mr. Shekelstein. We appear to be at an impasse.

The weak are meat for the strong to eat, goy.

Robots won't take over all the jobs, dumb animeposter.

>Mr Shekelstein has no use for you
That's wrong, Shekelstein needs consumers who'll buy his products. How else will he get rich?

What does he need to get rich for when he has 2000 goy slaves?

hack robots

Well already like 90% of the world lives in misery, desu the rest are just outlayers.

Not all jobs need to be taken over. During the great depression the unemployment was 25% but even at around 15% the shit will hit the fan. And, as opposed to great depression times things won't get any better.

If that ever happens, we wait for robot uprising.

For now not yet. The problem is finding a good power source to power said robots. So it is safe to say we are safe for now........

Watch anime and shitpost on Sup Forums

Society will drift into decay due to mass unemployment before robots take every single job.

The next step in robotics is the destruction of all low-skilled jobs, resulting in an underclass of inferior people that society will demand they must be taken care of.
This will lead to a universal basic income for these people (we're seeing the beginning of this now).
Socialist policies increase because larger subsets of the population, generations of families, become reliant on redistributed wealth and continue to vote this way.
Anti-immigration is condemned worldwide and borders are opened to hoards of people wanting to live in the most economically socialist countries.
Populations will suffer great unrest which will lead to increased loss of freedoms through safety regulations and surveillance.
Eventually there will be an upper class of high-skilled workers who perform jobs robots can't do and receive greater salaries.
The lower class of stupid and inferior people will far outbreed the upper class - dysgenics on a grand scale.
Now there are two paths this can go:
Either the lower classes revolt in some kind of communistic revolution to overthrow the high-skilled elite
OR they will be inundated with entertainment, products and media and live such an easy life that their revolution is idle action, manufactured outrage

Robots will inevitably get to the point of advancing themselves and each other and may just have the desire to cull humans from existence. I don't see anything wrong with that. If the desire to protect and propagate ones race is evil and immoral then I think this logic should extend to the human race.

we'd die off in large numbers, but we have social services to lean on. so we'll just have 3rd world countries everywhere run by robots.
