2nd for manly bezels.

...

>those pathetic bezels
Yuck

...

>Linus the tech manlet
Shoo shoo. Only real keyboards belong in this thread

keyboards are lame

I've been using Cherry Blacks on a 60% and most switches are already smoother than stock. How much longer do I need to use this before I can sell them as vintage blacks?

I'm thinking another two years to make sure the less used keys are really smoothed out.

>caring what some beta manlet without balls and with a panface of a wife thinks
kys

Really want to pull the trigger on this :/

Do it. Its a worthless piece of shit you wont miss it once you blast it to bits

>his bezels aren't big
But seriously, what about it do you like?

tfw bezelet

I don't see enough bezels in this thread.

Always nice to see vintage apple

How do I program macros?

Should I get high af on opiates tonight or wait till next weekend?

install gento

ur a faget

well jokes on you using linux will make programming your keyboard a whole lot easier

I just got kicked by vac for using linux

Who /bigfoot/ here?

I love that board to an extent, but all the stepped caps always ruin it for me.

>we're not sure if you have a desk or not so we built one into your keyboard.

What's not to like about it anyway?
>alu case
>84% layout
>good keycaps and switches
>floating key design
I mean, I'm happy with my TADA, but this is pretty great too, no?

II still think this looks pretty good.
That USB jack position though.

Is the overall feeling in daily use different or just aesthetics?

Does anyone sell stepped caps lock with a centered stem in Cherry profile?

I just got some caps and was stoked for a stepped caps only to find out it was off center stem and my board doesn't support it.

Both honestly.
I usually hit all the stepped keys dead center. But every now and then when i'm typing fast ill hit one off center and it fucks me up.
Yeah, that's pretty sweet. Not a fan of the colored caps though. But that can always be fixed.

I think I will leave this here.

I don't think I could ever adapt to that.
How many layers does it have?

Who /vaporwave/ or /futurefunk/ here

soundcloud.com/desired/sunshine-aerobics

How many days have you been posting about this now and why does it need its own thread? Just move it over here.
Also, what psi did you use on it? It had to be somewhat low, right?

I cum everytime I see these keycaps

whats that and how do i get one

...

where do i get this?

God that keyboard looks amazing for the keycaps alone.
Good taste in reviewers btw youtube.com/watch?v=WqYkrW7IMR0

Did that enter key come with the set?

...

no

Are Zealios just a meme or are they actually good?

How would one go about building a keyboard? I want a sexy, small form factor keyboard with loud switches (anything similar to buckling spring).

The easiest way to do the case is with stacked acrylic. Go look at how an Ergodox is assembled.

MEANWHILE...found this keyboard in an abandoned frozen building in Thule AB, Greenland. Probably been there for a couple decades till I found it (works great).

meme, buy mod switches instead

I love that someone literally designed a 65% bigger than a TKL and called it "aesthetics"

>found
give it back jamal

...

What's a good aftermarket wrist rest?
My K70 came with a wrist rest but I have huge hands and if I put it on my wrists are still resting on the desk so it's basically useless for me.

Or should I just go to my grandfather's workshop and make my own?

Ain't they mostly the same and you just pick the color and the wood (if you care about that)?
Or is there something else here?

A local guy is selling his half-year-old black HHKB for around $167 (30% off the retail price where I live).
Is it worth it? Sure it's used, but it's still a legit HHKB.

I was considering selling my silenced novatouch and an old poker 2, do you think people will buy them even if they have to pay 20 euros for shipping?

worth, if you don't like it you can flip it for profit

Doesn't the rubber in topre gets stiffen with time?

Depends on the price (and age)

If they're so old they're worth €30, you'll either pocket €10 or have to try to sell it for €50, neither of which are very good. If, however, you sell it for €150, you can easily afford to offer free shipping

>tfw you bought a Anne Pro with Gateron Browns
>tfw you have to wait a month and pray that isn't a strike on customs again
>tfw you have to hope that your shitty rubber dome doesn't fail on that time frame
Feels bad man.

At least put the correct cap lad.
youtube.com/watch?v=Kpnd4OVf7oo

Yeah, on a 10 year timescale

Is there a replacement for the rubber mat?
If you want a overpriced rubber dome, then go ahead. Buy used is better than buy a new one.

Would the CM Masterkey Pro S (tenkeyless, MX blue) be a good intro keyboard? It's like $50 off on Amazon and I figured I could also buy some nice replacement caps.

Nice board user. Been wanting one of those for a while.
Fuck unicomp before anyone mentions them.

>his keyboard doesn't last 30 years

>topre
get your shit membrane keyboards out of here

...

>topre
>membrane
If you're gonna meme it up at least use the correct terms. Its rubber dome, membrane refers to the actuation mechanism like rubber dome over membrane.

There's third party chink domes

Unicomp still make those. Go to their website if you want to waste a bunch of money on a cheaply made outdated keyboard.

They feel like utter shit. You will have to buy a cheap realforce or type heaven and swap the domes from them

Got this cheap shit from AliExpress. Nothing to complain, considering the price

>Budget
up to 120-130 euro
>Location (continent at least)
Eastern Europe
>Preferred switch type
cherry blue seem nice
>Layout
not sure, currently with ISO so ISO i guess
>Form factor
100% , im more used to typing numbers from the numpad
>Backlight
yes, rgb if possible
>Previous/current keyboards
logitech k200 for the last couple of years

All I wanted was a britbong ISO layout HHKB with topre keys.
mfw only Japanese funnylayout has anything like that

>ISO
worst layout ever made
At least JIS is somewhat useful to the nips.

thoughts on the cooler master masterkeys s? i'm thinking about getting the one with white backlight instead of the RGB model

Most people don't like DSA profile, while Tada comes with the universally loved Cherry profile. Also, there's the glaring problem of the oversized esc and del key.

Only the PBT model is worth getting.

>Most people don't like DSA profile
Hmmm not what I've seen so far. DSA is pretty popular both at Geekhack and r/mk

Guise i need your opinion.
I currently have a keyboard with aristotle switches. But they are failing due to their age i guess the metal contacts are the problem. So i have a budget of 50 bux and was thinking of either buying gateron blue switches and doing the gateron + aristotle mod or buying a new board with gateron blue and doing the mod there or not at all if it's not worth it.

>most people don't like DSA profile
[citation needed]

>spend $300 on mechanical keyboards
>turns out I actually prefer typing on the modern faggot ThinkPad keyboards, not even the classic ones
Explain this meme, Sup Forums

Looking for a keyboard:

>Budget
Up to ~$160
>Location
USA
>Preferred Switch Type
Cherry MX Clear
>Layout
ANSI
>Form factor
100%
>Backlight
Either

If you guys don't know anything either I may be giving up my quest for these clears :(

Sooooooooo
XDA profile?
Yay or nay?
I'm buying a bunch of blank keycaps now and am currently wavering between good ol' Cherry and the XDA newbie.

Sounds like you're just a faggot to me.
Have you tried topre?

That's because they only take pictures of their keyboards for upboats instead of actually using them.

If you've never tried Cherry, you should just get them because they're the safe bet. XDA is new, but is really just a higher profile DSA, so take that as you will.

Just get Cherry.

>Found the GOAT colorway
>it's ABS
>it's DSA
>it's no longer available to buy
Fuck this shit.

brain problems

Bezels you say?

I fucking hate Corsair as a company having purchased several of their products (all ending up faulty in one way or another) before doing my research. Yet, despite all the faulty LED's I still love my gunmetal K70. Next time I'll do more research to find a better brand and hopefully clear switches.

See and the countless anons in agreement with me. Prove that you don't have to spend $150 or more to get a better experience than a ThinkPad keyboard, which you can pick up standalone for less than $100 while blowing all Cherry and Gateron keyboards out of the water.

says the trip fag posting on one of Sup Forums's most autistic generals

Get DSA. Cherry profile is utter shite.

>all shitty cherry switches and clones
Ah, I see why you prefer the ThinkPad board now.

What can I get that's better for $200 or less? I'll let you convince me.

fpbp

Well, what type of layout do you prefer?

I really like hhkb/leopold profile, is cherry similar?

ANSI preferred but I can live with ISO

sort of
the topre profile is higher and closer to OEM profile

>Bought a $20 IBM model M from Goodwill four years ago
>Have been using it daily since
Also
>Cherry and Gateron
no wonder. I bought one of those about a year ago and I ended up throwing it away, I've never seen such a horrible designed switch before. Nothing but problem after problem.
