Do many African Americans acknowledge that there is too much black crime and it needs to stop?
I know there is a hip hop called blackalicious that does. Many of their songs are about how black people should go to college and read books instead of being criminals and neets.
Carson King
Basically every black over the age of 40, usually 30
Grayson Walker
No, because that would require a major change in mentality that would go against 50+ years of identity politics.
Brayden Taylor
That would also require to take actions to prevent it.
Like paying black people reparations for hundred of years of slavery, systemic racism, xenophobia, segregation and other discriminations
Easton Taylor
So not really but there are a few exceptions?
I'm getting conflicting answers here.
Carter Nelson
All black people would say there is too much crime because black people are the ones who are victims of black crimes.
That in and of itself does not shift the framework that creates the degree of crime.
People act as though socioeconomic marginalization and large earnings of illicit substances creating crime is not a thing.
Angel Mitchell
yes, but if they speak out about it they get harassed and labeled "coons" or "uncle toms" by the black community.
Jason Mitchell
They are genetically more violent. Sadly you can't change DNA. It sucks because they didn't choose to be born this way
Nathaniel Young
>giving cash for the sins of are fathers will solve the problem
Jayden White
I highly doubt anyone else in this thread has lived in a poor black community. Maybe it's different elsewhere in the country, but in the northeast it's
Cooper Lewis
THAT SOUNDS HORRIBLE
Chase Bell
It is, they need to change internally before they can change externally
Easton Gray
I wonder if black people hate blackalicious music then...
Grayson Smith
your're both right
Aiden White
No you get called a coon and uncle Tom for respectability politics.
White people loved bill cosby and his chastising of black youth, we spoke about him not being shit and how he was horrible and guess the fuck what? He was raping all sorts of women.
When the community calls you a coon, not individuals but large swarths of the community it's because you aren't shit and we see through it.
Adam Edwards
If that's the case we would have killed every white person or each other by now. No.
Jordan Clark
I was just kidding. We've got the same problem with Moroccans. The ones who try to make a change are traitors. The communities are still badly in denial.
We've got multiple black communities and each behave drastically different. Somalians are low in numbers but are on drugs (qat) doing nothing all day. Antilleans are raised by single moms, criminal and opressed by the system. Surinamese are quite well integrated. They tend to be happy and a bit dumb. But that doesnt bother them.
So their environment really is a role model for them.
Dylan Evans
only him then, you had your chance
Jayden Young
>raping Innocent until proven guilty, he hasn't been convicted
Xavier Price
It fucking sucks that cosby as a rapist.
He broke stereotypes and now he is a fucking rapist.
Joshua Powell
He also broke the stereotypes about himself. Is there anything he cant do?
Evan Nelson
He admitted it. Instead if trying to find a black person who will say the things you feel to be best for blacks you should like just listen to black people who don't try to stay relevant by demeaning black people.
Adam Powell
yes
rich people don't join gangs
Jaxson Ortiz
Black people don't stay rich for any significant length of time.
Gavin Davis
...while blacks can much more easily lose wealth your statement is pretty false. Like you clearly don't know about us. Rich people do shady shit everywhere
Hunter Ramirez
Yeah, let's make pay people for the 1% that ever possessed a slave during this period... What about making the african countries that sold them by the way ? Oh and what about making the maghrebi barbary slave trade pay too ? The price of slavery was paid by the blood of hundreds of thousands young white men fighting to free them, it's done now.
Just like the asians they have all the ressources to socially grow, they have now multiple decades of affirmative action and they are still the american burden, worst is they keep asking for more and are more entitled than ever. Unless you begin some genetic engineering program they will still remain the minority with the lowest IQ in USA. It's just sad for the top 30% of them who are well inserted people but the rest will simply always be at the bottom.
