Watching A12 APU videos on youtube playing all the popular benchmark games

>watching A12 APU videos on youtube playing all the popular benchmark games

>all of them are at 720p
>and medium settings
>none of the games running at 60
>most 50 at max and various moments of stuttering

wait didnt the last APUs also run games at 720p on medium at less than console quality too?

lmao, this is AMD's revolution?

so here we are once again with none of Ryzen CPUs able to actually run games better than intel options

and now their APU has a IGP that nobody would bother with to game and can just use Intel's IGP to do the same shit before they buy a real GPU and then pair it with an Intel CPU that wont bottleneck it

Steam hardware survey want to have a word with you

>hardware survey shows FPS and stuttering

A12-9800 is still a Bulldozer APU. It also costs $100 so it's not like they're charging you an arm and a leg for it.

for $100 you can buy a i3-7100 and run Witcher 3 at 1080p max with any competent GPU

Yes, that GPU will cost at least $200 extra. APU is not really in the same price bracket as CPU+GPU.

Raven Ridge APUs will be the ones to look out for. This is just AMD getting rid of old stock that they originally were selling to OEMs.

so you're gonna upgrade from a fucking A10 to this shit rather than build a proper 1151 PC?

who in their right fucking mind is going to spend 100 to play at worse than console quality

you can buy a fucking PS4 original edition for fucking $100 and get better quality

Could be good for a mediacentre build. Or a dirt cheap rig for older games.

>$200
>Witcher 3 at max settings

Nigger you're going to need a $400 1070 at least.

not really, just a 6GB 1060

just wait for raven ridge

Pentium and i3 dont actually have great single thread, its the unlocked ones that do really well. Youd have to shell out for the 7350k to see a signoficant songle thread advantage over AMD.

Bulldozer has even worse single core than that, though. Not even kidding. A12-9800 25% slower single core than G4560.

Zen based Raven Ridge APUs won't have this problem.

every kabylake 1151 pentium and up is 100% + single thread

APU is garbage

GT 1030/MX150 is so much better with 1080P 60FPS gaming

G4560 + GT 1030 = $150
A12-9800 = $100

They're pretty much completely different price brackets considering how low the prices are already.

Also, MX150 is a discrete GPU in a laptop.

>intel getting so btfo that their shills have to shitpost about old ass amd apus

fucking lel

>GT 1030
that shit even worse than 750ti

>shitty $100 AMD APU is shit but great for the price
>look guise you can buy this intel + Nvidia GPU and it's better
>for $150-200

Now tell me what intel or intel + nvidia solution beats it for $100.

The problem with Raven Ridge is AMD might pull the same stunt they did with bristol ridge and have it OEM exclusive for 6 months.

Though since it'd use AM4 you could feasibly build a Bristol Ridge system now, and upgrade for a pretty low cost.

I'm seriously considering one for a HTPC build.

Let's hope not.

Actually a 970.

>every kabylake 1151 pentium and up is 100% + single thread

Not really.

Weak CPU + Slow Ram.

>Pairing fast DDR4 RAM with a $100 CPU
Not happening. The RAM would cost more than the CPU.

OP doesn't understand that the new APUs from AMD are not out yet. lol

He tried though, I'll give him that.

My RX 470 doesn't have this problem.

>R7 iGPU
yeah nice try
