post churches, synagogues, mosques and temples from your cunt

pic related is the Pécs basilica, built in the 11th century, of course its present day shape is the result of a number of reconstructions during the past couple of centuries

This brutalistic peace of shit is a synagogue in the officers academy. Not even funny.

Why the fuck can't we build shit.

your ancestors could

looks like bad clumpy constipation

...

one of my favs
too bad it's only neogothic and we don't have too many big actually medieval churches

Looks like mosque and a church having anal sex.

We have plenty of synagogues, all of them empty, because our Jews are dead. Also few mosques, gathering few thousand people who will be probably forced to leave Poland because of growing islamophobia. Churches are full only of old Poles, because young ones are not interested in attending.

I won't show any photo because it is depressing and reminds me of death

...

Yeah it's crooked as fuck

wait a minute...

our most important church in old town, parts covered in mother of pearl, here they used this a lot even the president house has rooms full of it

Dormition Abbey in Jerusalem. The original foundation is from 4 century but it was reconstructed in the 19 century after being levelled after the crusades.

The tower got BTFO multiple times, first by a lightning strike in the 17th century, then by fire in the 19th century and lastly during WW2 when the Polish liberators shot at it, lel.

The shit is on the inside. It's really beautiful

>mfw muslims want a space for praying
never ever

It's all ruins now, that's just a recreation

I figured
we have a lot of ruins too, just this week I was at a downtown Budapest church which was built on the ruins of a 12th century Gothic church, which in turn used as its foundation an ancient Roman fort built during the 2nd century AD
this is how the building looks like now, nothing special, but it still retains some of its Gothic predecessor's walls that you can't see on the picture

Nice. Quebec has lots of nice old buildings, but they're usually a bit roughed up.

this right here is, in my opinion, the nicest church in the world

always been partial to this one

Las Lajas sanctuary

> convert mosque to church
> not blowing it up and build cool bro-gothic, eclectic, or baroque church

Kys

Modern Polish church

Fucking disgusting
Reminds me of the church in the little village I grew up with. They "renovated" it into some modern minimalist bullshit and now it looks like the waiting room of a dentist on the inside.

they did good job

Basilica of St Jean le Baptiste, St. John's, Newfoundland

pretty comfy if you ask me

here is St. patrick's church, same city

catholic church built in a faux-pagan style

...

I got a few cute ones from my city.

cathedral

They're all not very old, the oldest one ifro mlike XII-XIII century.

...

Are are very specific, kinda cute, some look castle-like.

This is a chapel of some sort of small protestant-like community.

I saw chapels like this in Wilno as well. They're funny.

This is a chapel in one of our hospitals(st. Mary I think).

I love how it looks.

There are a lot of churches made from red brick in this "specific" style :) but this is the oldest one(thus the wood) from XIII century I think. Napoleon was there and it still has some peculiar old stuff like the list of fallen in ww1 from the local district or it has this "special window" made for sick people to come to the church and ask for aid - it was needed due to plagues.

Are young people generally atheistic and rebel against religion or do they just not think it's important and ignore it?

The red brick look is nice

Yeah I'm used to it I even live in new blocks near old dragoon barracks changed to lofts. The whole neighbourhood is filled with red brick and it looks goat especially during autumn.

The churches are nice inside as well, sadly a lot of things from the inside of the chuches got stolen first by swedes than by russians/germans.

It's sad red brick has been pretty much forgotten.

Catholic church, built in 2000.

I remember when I was in PEtersburg at the "Polish" church. A guy told me russians changed the church to stables for some period of time, because why not.

Mormons are weird.

Another one

This one's in DC

Note the little dude with the horn waaaay up top
