Ryzen + Vega thinkpads when?

Ryzen + Vega thinkpads when?

Soon(tm).

probably never
those will most likely stay intel and if its a model with dedicated gpu it will be nvidia
sad but true

Vega is a housefire so no.

Vega is overkill for Thinkpads. Professionals will be okay with ravenridge

4K ALU card runs hot?
No shit pal.

GTX 1070 and 1080 run in laptops. AMD can't do that because Vega is not efficient.

vega architecture has the same efficiency at a higher performance.

It draw much more power...

Ryzen or raven ridge(forgot which) is confirmed. Called the a470 and a270 I believe. Probably coming out early next year?
I'm excited.
Also looks like vega is rather efficient when they're not going for such a high performance target and should do okay in laptops and as a polaris replacement.

never probably

I hope never

Next years, maybe show models on CES2018

whenever 7 nm APU laptops are available I'm getting one.

AMD offers no Vega10 in laptops the same way nvidia offers almost no GP102 in laptops.
Its A475 and A275.

Comfy Ryzen Vega Thinkpads with a preinstalled Arch, C and Haskell, BOTNET and CIA-Niggers.

DELET IMMEDIATELY, CIA NIGGER

with less gayming performance, yeah yeah right fuck off shill

Cant you elaborate pls? How vega is better?

>vega

wtf man, just at the numbers yourself

My nigger. Vega sucks over 250W from the wall in it's lowest form of spec. It would be truly weird to have a 45 watt CPU like a core i7 for mobile and a vega that uses 5 times that.

I'd prefer Ryzen + nvidia GPU to be honest.

There's a 150W Nano coming out.

Mobile doesn't need 4k shaders nor does it need 1600MHz clock, like any modern GPU architecture it can scale down to below 10W

but i want a fucking 13Tflop card in my laptop :
