Is nobody making normal cases anymore?

Is nobody making normal cases anymore?
I want
>size comparable to Define R4
>either no window or really dark one, no window preferable
>one or two 5.25'' bays, one is absolutely enough
>mesh front
>top/front/bottom dust filters
>support for 140mm fans all around
>3+ 3.5'' drives and 3+ 2.5'' ones simultaneously
>~100€
Does this even exist?

just get r4

Fractal just released flowy

My bad it's called meshify

>no 5.25
>bottom/back fan only 120mm
>only 2 3.5'' drives
>smaller than R4
Come on, we can do better.

Grow up, windows are nice. Especially clear glass ones.

Have you looked at corsair?

>windows are nice
What is this, 2005?

>one or two 5.25'' bays, one is absolutely enough
>3+ 3.5'' drives and 3+ 2.5'' ones simultaneously

I bought a thermaltake f31? 51?
maybe that's close to what you want.

What's wrong with the one you posted? It looks like to fits all your criteria except the mesh front. I found it (Define R5 if I'm right) for 101,27 €.

The fractal Design R5 rather than the R4.
>No window.
>Sound dampened all around.
>120/140mm mounts all around.
>Dust filters in front and bottom of case.
>2x5.25" bays.
>8x3.5" HDD bays. These bays also all support 2.5" drives.
>2x2.5" mounts behind the motherboard
>supports coolers up to 185mm tall

Only criteria it may not meet for you is price. I don't know what 100 of your fake money is in actual money. But it costs $140 here.

No, you grow up gaymer manchild. Why would you want window when you can have silenced case instead.
No one gets impressed with your cringe green leds. No one will ever enter your cave anyway, so why care

Googlee- "fractal design vibrating HDD"
>168,000 results

It's why fractal includes rubber anti-vibration grommets for all the HDD cages now.

>168,000 retards that don't know how to put the rubber grommets in the sled trays

I'm guessing you're one of them

>one or two 5.25'' bays

No.

Damage control. Flaking paint, vibrating hdds, and stripped screws are the reasons I didn't fall for the fractal meme.

Corsair Carbide 100R is pretty big, has good cable management, but it's cheap as fuck because it doesn't have edgy gamer aesthetics.

>Grow up
Kek

>one or two 5.25" bays
What the fuck do you use that for? The only thing I could think of anymore is a hot swap 3.5" bay but in that case you want a few bays.

>Using a hard disk drive in 2017
kek
delete your porn, its weighing you down.

...

the perfect case doesn't exi-

corsair 88r silent

>upside down motherboard

you have no objective argument against it

I really wish they'd sell swappable front panels like that for the Defines.
It feels kind of dumb having to keep the door open all the time to not get dreadful airflow and avoid having dust go in through the gaps next to the filter.

>8x the price of a quality brand HDD with twice the capacity

why do you need a new case
buy a proper one once and settle down.
don't even care what you buy, just get some big old piece of shit like the obsididian 900, thermaltake x9, coolermaster HAF, coolermaster cosmos ii... and never look back

>grow up
Wtf

I don't really notice it since my case fans are off 95% of the time due to having good cooling on GPU and CPU.
Though GPU fans are almost always off and CPU fan runs at just 300 RPM.

>windows are nice
Yes. Tempered glass is great. Except when you accidentally bang it and it explodes in a shower of tiny fragments that feed into all of your intake fans.

As an R4 owner I can tell you the rubber grommets will not work however many you put in. Removing the dust covers specifically the bottom one is the only thing that works.

>spinning disk for anything but the odd external backup
REPULSIVE

this. you can't get all that reliably under $100. R4 and R5 cost more but are worth the extra. R5 is pretty flawless imo

it will feel dizzy

This.

>tfw I use one of these for my desktop.

Comfy af.

Silverstone RL05
Silverstone RL06

wish more cases had CPU heatsink and GPU support

Corsair Carbide Series 270R

...

...

i too, worry of my tower being detected by radar

Been looking at these two.

Solid build quality. Solid sides. 5.25" bays. 200R has shit ventilation from the front, though.

That case legitimately shouldn't exist. You're free to love it, but it just hits so many wrong notes for me. No bays. The solid body is nice, but it also means it has shit ventilation. And the open body otherwise is for liquid cooling. And so it's a box that demands liquid cooling and has no bays, but has no window. It's a box designed to be a display piece without the ability to display.

It's a weirdo. It's a cave salamander.

You could just take the door off. Does it make that much of a difference in temperature? I've been thinking about getting one. Do you have a bottom intake fan?

yes it's called master case 5

You need to expand your brain. It has 6 areas where the drives directly mount to the case, far superior to bays.

It has extremely good ventilation because of the case being easy to cable, so good cabling + a solid fan creates a good airflow.

You might be a build brainlet. :^)

I meant 5.25" bays.

Trashbays are not needed.

It's bigger than the R4, but the Enthoo Pro meets most of those requirements. The smaller Enthoo Pro M regrettably isn't available without a window.

I don't think they make the non-windowed Mastercase 5 anymore, which is pretty stupid for a case that's supposed to be all about customization.

try the phanteks enthoo pro m

first build of mine was in the 200r, I was very disappointed by a number of things, most notably the lack of clearance in the top and front, forget about putting a 240/280 radiator anywhere. Drive cages aren't removable which is disappointing. Much prefer any fractal case.

Likely over your requested price point, but look into Nanoxia Deep Silence series

really? i guess my shithole country is so late on everything that it's still sold here. well, it's sucks then.

Lol flowy. Thanks user.

>Fractal goes gaymer

>dust proof case

Does it exist?

>Look up price
>Lowest sale has been $80
Fuck.

>waaaahhh a case to meet my every specific desire doesn't exist

fuck off retard

Good to know.

Have the Antec p100, fits most of the criteria. Might be hard to find though

it's a shame to see FD go this route, always liked them for their professional looking cases. Phanteks can stay king Gaymer, I just don't want FD to fight for that crown, ya know.

nope, but I can teach you how to reduce dust if you care.

>Fractal makes a front mesh that looks like you accidentally kicked the shit out of it
Is this the pre-ripped jeans of case fashion?

panty hoses and dont use just enough number of fans

>5" bays
>2.5" bay
nope

You do know there are other gadgets you can fit in those slots, right? You can theoretically link a tiny display into a 5.25 bay (or two) that functions in the event of emergencies.

>you do know .... right?
fuck off and kys

and why the fuck would i want to do that if i want a case like that pic?
start using your brain

barely anyone includes more than 4 3.5 inch drives, and theres such a push for large amounts of ssd bays when we haven't actually reached a point where more than a few are commonly used.
5.25 bays are also gone, i think some situations dont need them but everything is geared towards dropping features.
glass and open chassis are on the rise still even though you lose features with glass panels

Define C, look it up

The Define C is a great case that could look like a professional case. I highly recommend Fractal in general because of how logical and solid their cases are.

R5 is awesome

Cases with understated looks do exist but they're somewhat uncommon because millennials want the flashy gamer shit. Millennials buy most of this shit so we have to deal with what they demand.

shut up grandpa. millennials are 30 now.
