Well now that the Threadripper benchmarks are out and it's a huge piece of shit for gaming, what are low IQ gaymers like myself supposed to wait for now? Will the Coffee Lake 8700K be something to look forward to or should I not get my hopes up?

Are you even looking at the same benchmarks? It's as good as Ryzen, I don't know how you were expecting any better when it's basically the same CPU, only two of them now.

Remember to sage and hide!

Will probably be another shitshow rushed housefire like X299 to be honest.

Wait more. amd will deliver next time

>buying a 16c/32t for gaymen

SOPA

That's what I was told after thuban too

What gaymes are you playing that require you to buy expensive CPU's?

>'it's as good as Ryzen'
>this is what AMD fanboys actually believe

All of them you shitmuncher. GPU performance has moved on astronomically since the era of Sandy Bridge, CPU performance has not. Every single fucking game is CPU bottlenecked these days.

There are always going to be some games with launch day issues, and there's always going to be dipshits like you cherrypicking them. Kill yourself.

>higher performance with stock clocks than OC.
What did he mean by this?

>five year old game
>$1000 flagship getting minimum framerates half as good as a fucking 2500K
>(((launch day issues)))
Guess if I buy a TR chip I'll just exclusively play 2017 and later AAA titles.

Read your Anandtech, most games benefit when you switch it to NUMA mode.

>fucking pentium is better
>muh moar coars smooth gameplay

>5.1GHz (a totally realistic overclock) 7700K only 10% faster than 3.9GHz 1700X

What did Intel mean by this?

Pic related is you.

Kill yourself.

Overclocking doesn't scale performance linearly, never has.

...

...

What did you expect you stupid cunt, you were honestly looking at 12/16 core cpu's for gaming?

Save money, get a 7700k and get the best gaming performance

...

Kill yourself.

wojaks should be brown

Mazda RX-9 gaming benchmarks coming in 2019

Crazy how a 2015 port doesn't know how to handle 32 threads. But you know that, it's just more fun pretending to be retarded.

DAMAGE CONTROL!!!!!! DAMAGE CONTROL!!!!!! DAMAGE CONTROL!!!!!!

Just set up (UMA) delicia mode

>But but all those gaymer led motherboards what we gonna do now

It's workstation LEDs

>32 threads are actually useless for gaming.

...

...

>250ns delay
>amdfags will defend this

200ns you mean? There's nothing to defend. i9's mesh latency is consistently shitty, even if you increase RAM speed and overclock it.

>Quoting something I didn't say
It's almost like you have to write programs for the hardware they'll be used on. You're right I'm sure they tested the game on xenons. It's AMDs fault it's not working.

Yep yet mesh has much more scalable performance inter cores. Not that you will consistently use cores 1 to 20 bingback on seon, but it you don't need to worry about numa on single die xeon.
Zen is effective 2 levels of numa ccx and die.

You need to oc the mesh not the cache
