I want to punish Google as much as possible for firing the diversity memo guy...

I want to punish Google as much as possible for firing the diversity memo guy, but at the same time I find Chrome is the best browser and Google is the best search engine.

So what can I do?

>google is the best search engine
Which other ones have you used for any significant period of time?

I don't have a better alternative, I'm just calling bullshit on you having even tried any others.

i agree google is the best search engine but its still shit, tried for long periods, Bing, DuckDuckShit, Qwant... all worse

kill yourself

Stop caring.

install firefox

or

grow the fuck up and recognize the same thing would happen at most companies.

> firing the diversity memo guy

He deserved it for not being subtle about the issue. What did he expect would happen?

I think his plan was to get fired.
He knew they just put a new girl in charge of the diversity thing and she probably wouldn't be able to handle the pressure.
He knew how to write the document in a way that only people with a degree in mental gymnastics could be offended, so he could sue for wrongful termination when they fired him.
If he plays his cards well, he might be able to tsie legal action against all those who slandered and harassed him up to his firing.

The weird part is that nobody has been able to find something that is racist or sexist in his commentary.

I would use Sea monkies.browseriiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii

Any updates on his legal action plan?
I'd also love to see if the new diversity leader fucks shit up and everyone is pointing to the guy's memo

Maybe off topic but I don't want to open a new thread.

Should I use IceCat or Idirium?
Also is it normal for icecat to run in a Win7VM?
Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; rv:31.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/31.0

Why do you create the same thread again?

google will probably give him a settlement, i doubt they want to fight it out with a class action lawsuit and the usdol looming

Install adnauseam

>I want to punish Google as much as possible for firing the diversity memo guy
where do i even begin?

go take a walk, maybe it'll get things moving up there.

>I want to punish Google as much as possible for firing the diversity memo guy

>wanting to punish google for firing a jew

just google it man...

Consider suicide

Either make peace with using something made by people you disagree with or make peace with using something you don't feel is as good. What the fuck else do you want us to say Sup Forums? Just do something or don't, we don't care.

Make peace with one of the firefox forks and use a quality ad blocker.

use brave

Do you mind building a shitty website and then submitting said website on my search engine wiby.me that I'm building? It only accepts websites that were hand scripted in note-pad. That will help fight google and also improve the web because all contemporary webpages are full of bloated scripts.

>I want to punish Google as much as possible
you're nothing. you can't punish them in the slightest. just use the best browser (that would be chromium currently and hopefully firefox from late 2017-early 2018 onwards) and fuck off

His firing isn't beneficial for literally anyone with a brain. You two seem exempt.

Duck has been slowly getting better. Honestly if you want to use something else I'd use duck for now. Keep checking the others for improvements

Ungoogled chromium.

He was very subtle about the issue. The memo existed for more than a month before it started to spread and then got leaked to the press. And if he can demonstrate that he was raising concerns about possibly illegal business practices involving race and gender-based hiring quotas, then he has a solid case in his lawsuit against Google. You can't fire someone for asking those kinds of questions even in a state with at-will employment.

>And if he can demonstrate that he was raising concerns about possibly illegal business practices involving race and gender-based hiring quotas, then he has a solid case in his lawsuit against Google.

Claiming that after the fact is going to help him.

He could have sources legal codes or legal cases rather than peer reviewed studies on gender difference.

He filed a complaint with the National Labor Relations Board well before the memo was widely publicized.

Why not the eeoc or the dir of ca?

He would have needed to be directly effected (affected? pls help) to file a lawsuit. He cant be fired for following official channels, but you cant just post "is the boss racist?" pamphlets in the break room.

He shot himself in the foot by going open with this.

JUST READ THE FUCK WIKI. There had a lot of alternatives.

He didn't go open with it.

Use another browser and adblockers.
This way you use their bandwith but don't give any admoney.

Iridium / Startpage

Also, uBlock Origin for adblocker

So this is the power of Drumpf's America

bing is unironically a pretty great search engine even if all you do is use the video section for porn

>I want to punish google

Lol theirs nothing you can do faggot

If you don't give a shit about privacy and freedom and just want to stick it to Google, use Yandex as a search engine and Vivaldi for your web browser. Yandex also has analogs to Google services like a translator, image search, and email.

If you do give a shit about privacy and freedom, use Iridium or Ungoogled Chromium (both run much like Chrome) as your browser and searx for searching (there are many searx servers; whichever you use doesn't matter). Of course, if you're using Windows (which I have a feeling you are), then such efforts to bolster privacy are moot.

Open with in the company is still open.

Even If he handed a physical copy with his name attached and said "this is super secret dont share xD" he still circulated it.

Imagine this memo was about something SJW care about. For example: some woman reports a conflict with her boss to hr. she says he invited her out to a date and implied potential work benefits for sleeping with him. Hr proceeds to take its sweet time sussing out how to slap this guy on the wrist for something they cant prove he did.

So She writes her own dramatized account of what happened calling him out by name and complaining about how googles policies dont respect women. She then sends this to her 5 closest friends at the company in an attempt to create change. One of these happens to be the office gossip. It goes exactly how you expect.

Duh she gets fired. She spread an email around about her boss and her company being shit.

Why is this case any different. Whether the complainer is right or not is irrelevant to the company.

That diversity dude was an idiot. He was fired because of what he did, not what he thought or said. People will forget about the thing in a week or two, anyways.

you just get out there and punish them, you big bad boy, get right out there and punish those big meanies!
