Tell me about your country's navy

Tell me about your country's navy.

Eh, at least it's better than Bolivia's navy...

They have a base in a very pretty city.

our navy is a good curry maker:

In 1908, the curry was officially acknowledged when the curry meal recipe was published in The Naval Cooking Guide. Every Friday, sailors and officers in every ship and naval base in the Japanese Marine Self Defense Force would eat curry. This is a tradition inherited from the Imperial Japanese Navy. When sailing in the oceans and seas, sailors tended to lose their sense of time. Eating curry every Friday reminded sailors which day of the week it was.

Interesting. Do they eat a lot of western mres and food on board?

I've heard rumours that we have a navy, but I don't really believe them.

It's a museum on sea.

Huh. Very neat.

usually they cook on board but during combats they will have to eat whatever ready made. The pic is typical lunch of submariners.

We have about four submarines and six frigates. Maybe a chopper or two.

Became an unfunny meme after the Empire fell over 100 years ago.

BTFO

Pretty stronk

High tech shizzle.

Okay now I looked it up, this isn't actually true.
The navy currently has:
>10 frigates
>5 corvettes
>4 fast attack crafts
>5 submarines
>14 minesweepers
>119 auxiliary ships
>8 spy planes
>2 tanker planes
>21 sea kings
>22 sea lynx
And that's it.

It only has floating bathtubs. It has the oldest aircraft carrier in service today and it's only in service so generals can brag about DURR BRAZIL HAS AIRCRAFT CARRIER TOO, the electric system of it caught on fire two times.

Their boats keep sinking even while docked and leaking oil all the time.

>now i am become iceland, the destroyer of fishermen

Once they almost kill a bunch of kids in a regata.

Most people already know about the US Navy
But alot of people dont know that out coast guard is also an effective fighting force

We have nuclear powered submarines patroling the world 24/7/365 which can also attack with nuclear weapons.

Our coast guard itself is the world's 12th largest Navy

Once we had one.

If you think about it though, the fact that one Icelandic engineer died would be the same, in terms of total population, as the US losing 1079 engineers in one ''battle''.

based comsubin trained your meme seal

What about Zhongguo

The Royal Navy of Canada has:
>1 destroyer
>12 frigates
>4 patrol submarines
>12 coastal defence vessels
>8 unarmed patrol/training vessels.
>Dozens of planes and helicopters
>2 polar class ships in the making
>1 more destroyer in the making

Ranked 22nd out of 126 measured countries by G.F.P.

We have an insignificant navy, but I guess it gets the job done since the only real threat we have on the sea are narco subs.

the navy has plenty of subs, everything above water is shit

they technically have marines but they are clowns, paratroopers are where everything is going on, pic related

Wtf?? Explain.

Submarines drug runners make carrying narcotics
We have to deal with them too

These come from Colombia to trade with Mexicans and are often detected in our waters.

It's pronounced "Cold War".

The navy of Hellenic Republic

>Flagship can barely sale
Fucking pathetic tbqh
New surface combatants cannot be completed soon enough

Yeah, our entire military, but especially the navy, is in a sad state of disrepair.
Personnel are top rate, as is their training and pay, but equipment is usually fucked.

Is there a country Britain hasn't been at war with?

Canada, Australia, New Zealand

They went to war against French Canada

>American education

And one broken country.

Looks nice.

They invaded Australia and New Zealand and built colonies there.

>American Education

Good point, actually. We learn nothing about Canada outside of 1812. We don't deem you all that important. Canada usually just gets a quick mention someplace.

Stop using memes to justify your stupidity
Go read about the seven years war

Yes, because things like the French and Indian wars didn't also happen in America

>sale

leaf education everyone

meh we have some nice but rusty cold-war stuff, with newer neat subs and corvettes packing a surprsingly nice punch. russian anti-ship missiles are best in the world and we have torpedoes that can go faster underwater than an F1 car on a track. And icebreakers, Russia's got all of them though they're not navy, strictly speaking

and yes there's an FSB coast guard fleet too, they have some ice-capable misile boats being built that even the navy doesn't have

picrealated, two soviet boats on patrol

But what about our N U C L E A R SUB
Coming Soon™

>French Canada is the same as modern Canada

That's like saying Mexico defeated the US because they defeated Texas in battle.

lmao

Looks pretty tasty!

What do you want to know?

Ama.

Thanks Spain
Pity you just kept the cuckjump on though

Do you have a navy?

Daddy daddy today I learned about homonyms at GED camp!

Practically non-existent
