If you had one of these growing up, your childhood was awesome

k

us 90s kids should stick to gether

mine was more or less the same but they only had black and white displays at the time

pic related is what my dad had in his car. High technology from the 80's and 90's

nah, these were about early 2000s

also, if your not 90's or older you dont belong here
global rules 2

>nah, these were about early 2000s
Dont know what timeline you grew up in but as someone who was born in 88 the early 2000s were still me growing up, but I definitely wouldnt consider myself a 00s kid.

That's radical dude.

actually my total autistic mistake
>us 90s kids should stick to gether
I read as:
>you 90s kids should stick to gether

88 here too, brother, Feb '88 long live us fucked up 80's kids

possible the last decade of people to use a command line interface regularly

>when you were born and only a year later the wall fell
We changed history

>tfw couldn't afford a razr

This was my dream phone in high school.

Your parents didn't get it for you? They weren't that much

I had (and still have) an Nokia 1100. Does that count?

no it wasnt

I had one and it was mediocre at best.

When razr rolled around I was deep in high school...
My first phone was this faglord shit. But fuck it when you're 10 and get your first phone it's the greatest shit ever.

>being a socialcuck while growing up
>not dedicating 100% of your free time to playing video games and surfing the web for porn instead

I still have it and use it. If someone asks about it, I'd say it's retro. Do people still use that or SO NERDY XD?

I could only with for this one. I had this one instead, which was pretty awesome for the time.

Ah, these were good times. Many people in my town had Siemenses, which only supported 64 kbit/s WAV files for music, and I was the only kid who knew how to convert mp3s and had internet in my home. So I was selling each converted WAV file for ~$1.

I still miss it desu

Deutschland?

Also the Siemens M series was beast! I had a M35 and I bet if I stuck a new battery in it, it would still work.

External antennae, while not cool looking, gives better coverage. Now we struggle with designers overruling engineering requriements and lousy coverage.

Are we fucking buzzfeed now?

I was furious when my sis got Nokia 3330 and I got this crap that didn't even have a clock.

Upboated!
Edit: thanks for platinum reddit >.

I had that one.
It was really great for its time. Would choose it over a Nokia any day.

Bought one with my own saved up money. Had that little fucker for 6 years and after that my mom used it for 3 years or so. Its still at home and its still working. But my childhood wasn't that great since I realized that I was gay back then. Shit sucks m8.

>growing up
I was already half-way through college when those came out.

90s kids grew up in 90s and got phones around early 2000s. 80s kids did too. As a late 80s, I got my first phone around early mid 2000s.

No one reallly had phones when I was in school, soon as I got out of school and out of college, everyone and their grandkids suddenly has to have phones, smartphones to be precise.

Having that phone somehow didn't make my fathers fists any lighter, so no, OP, i didn't have an awesome childhood

This was my phone as a child/early teen. So comfy.

>childhood
sorry im not underage

I had one, it was shit. Then again, if I knew that in 5-10 years phones would still be shit, I'd lower my expectations and would have enjoyed the razr much more.

My mom had one, I sometimes played with it. I never really gave a shit about phones until Smartphones because I had nobody to call.

I still don't. So my phone is a glorified web browser and handheld console.

I had one of those but my parents beat me alot so it didn't really help

I remember my aunt having a razer back around 2005-2006
My first cellphone was a LG Chocolate I got back in 2008 when I was 11-12
