Testing a low quality game on a 16 core CPU

How the fuck is this allowed, anyone who spends money on a 8+ core CPU for gaming is a fucking moron.

If anything with its PCIE express lanes the 1950X could get that same result running 4 VMs each with its own GPU as CS would only use 4cores anyway

Is AMD trying to sell TR to the gaymen crowd?
Seems like Nvidia is even saying to buy TR for gaming.
Is this just a way to extract money from stupid people?

Prepare yourself for EPYC vs Xeon gaymen benchmarks.

When 4K gaming is a thing processor performance will become less of a thing and more about price and features than clocks.

>"Oi vey don't test any scenario's in which AMD does not come out on top!"

It a known fact that source games were highly optimised for intel CPUs

And here we have some benchmarks from AMD themselves

> anyone who spends money on a 8+ core CPU for gaming is a fucking moron.
Bought FX-8350 in 2013. No regrets.

>people buying a 16c/32t cpu to play CSGO
>yfw this will actualy happen

...until GPUs are fast enough to crunch through 4K and then the bottleneck becomes the CPU.

Don't even try it, they won't understand

>t. Mr. Poor

That's ironic coming from an AMDtard

That's because 8 FX cores is equivalent AT BEST to 4 Zen cores.

Or just very popular.....?

Today the common bottleneck isn't the GPU. Still get a lot of use out of my old (Intel® Core™2 Duo Processor E7400) that is still going strong.

GPU/Shader pipeline is more of a bottleneck with most modern games.

He's a Jew mate. What did you expect.

He is (((PAID))) to push out intel sponsered content all the time.

Because his audience wants to see that shit... Also he benchmarks gayming at 4K while testing the CPU, then acts surprised when even a Ryzen 3 1300 gets the same framerate...

AMD BTFO
INTEL BEATING THEM GOOD

>his audience

there is no point in testing a game like csgo on any >4 core cpu , as the engine is unable to utilize em and clockspeed wins , simple as that

That was my point.

>7900X 5 fps behind 1950X on 99 percentile

Is Linus a pedophile?

...

Look at all tr gaymer led mobos

Both CPUs are bollocks for this test.
Intel will win due clocks/IPC/latency. For a mixed usage Intel still better, but if someone is using PC just for gsyming grab a 7700k or coffee lake. Amd is somewhat okay, if you don't want 144hz.

yeah but how would people know how these cpu perform with this very popular game ?

I expect maybe pro players to do it, who knows.

Funny thing is, if you stream while playing that game TR pulls ahead.

There's gonna be dum-dumbs showing off their sick thread ripper gaming PCs soon enough.

You post this as a joke, but I still wanna go beat the shit out of this kid's brother

Lol, my old i5 easily beats your shitty threadripper.

Back to work, Brian.

Without a doubt.

DELET DIS

AMD BTFO

>2 fps different

at what settings?

The cheap intel, 7700K BTFO high-end intel and Ayyymd.

I like to see what 8700k can do.

AMDrones would consider suicide.

what out for those frame dips its a doozy

what game?

savage.

Pages and pages of autistic anti-AMD screeching. rbt.asia/g/search/filename/amdloo.png/

>I like to see what 8700k can do.
You mean "I'd like to see", you fucking vacuous shitstain? 8700K is going to be X299 part two. Rushed, housefire abortion with insane clockspeeds and TDP that could be best described as a mild suggestion.

It's obviously a Digital Foundry video. Spoilers: i5 loses, you wojak spamming failure. eurogamer.net/articles/digitalfoundry-2017-ryzen-5-1600-1600x-vs-core-i5-7500k-review
