Why are race relations so tense in North America but not South America?

Why are race relations so tense in North America but not South America?

Everyone in South America is equally homicidal so you just assume the worst no matter what colour they are, but Americans can only maintain a polite society by handing out firearms to everyone which leads to mass chimp outs

Because everybody knows their place here.

But they are?

north america: everyone is butthurt about race
latin america: no one gives too much of a shit.

Because we don't give blacks any hope and distract them with bunda.

Honestly they aren't, not on the level everyone thinks.

Our political climate encourages blaming other races for problems and then using violence to solve those problems. Add to this the US philosophy of the individual being the highest authority (above both community and state) we are a nation of heavily armed narcissists.

north america is run by a bunch of lunatic zionists who are hell bent on showing the world that it a "racial/cultural melting pot" when clearly their lunatic plan is only fermenting internal discord and corruption.

this is what will happen to your kingdom, country and culture if you allow kikes to hijack it.

What are you talking about? Native Americans are shunned and spat at in south America and everybody worships white people over there.

because usa is a first world cunt, in a first world cunt a minoirty cries and gets attention and thus power. iin a third world cunt a minority or race group cries and gets ignored/jailed/killed

lol at the primitiveness of this post.

Me on the left

lol

no one cares about race
only money since we are poor

With a few notable exceptions, generally speaking South Americans tend to have more pressing matters to solve, such as guerrillas, powerful drug trafficking gangs, epidemics of incurable diseases like Zika, widespread corruption, pervasive cronyism, and so forth; but there is also the unavoidable fact that even though racial differences do exist throughout Latin America, the USA has historically highlighted them in a much more profound manner, formerly by segregation, and currently by policies such as Black History Month and African-American studies programs in universities, which far from being helpful towards the establishment of a racially harmonious society, instigate distrust and resentment between races.

because in america and canada people don't have any real problems, so they fabricate stupid problems so they can be heroes

Nobody gives a shit. Besides some afrocentrists, but nobody takes them srsly, not even other blacks.

Your choices for president was a nip women or a half Jewish half scottish man.

Cause we tried to build a national identity that includes blacks.
That's not to say there is no racism, but here blacks don't have a very strong racial identity, they see themselves as brazilians first.

In the US black people seem to consider themselves "african-americans" rather than just "americans" and they have their own accent and culture.
Here black people just have the same accent from whatever region they're from, and elements of african culture became part of "brazillian culture" as a whole.

What's funny is, the left wing here in brazil are the only ones who insist on pushing a "black identity", despite this being a catastrophic failure in the US.

Because we let them think they are white.
