$45 ODROID-HC1 has SATA port and Gigabit Ethernet

cnx-software.com/2017/08/10/hardkernel-to-launch-stackable-49-odroid-hc1-home-cloud-200-odroid-mc1-cluster-solutions/

It can attach directly to a hard drive.

Will this be the ultimate "cheap VPN-connected torrent box" set-up?

What was wrong with using the odroid ux and a sata adapter?

ux is 32 bit. odroid c > ux

>only 2.5" drives
>exposed everything
just build a fucking nas for fuck's sake

the one in the OP is a a15 and 32bit as well??

i believe their only 64bit are the c series

It's a pretty cheap, low power solution if you only have 1 drives worth of storage to put on your network.

Cubietruck already did this a couple of years back though.

A 32-bit Cortex-A15 core is much faster than a 64-bit Cortex-A53 at same clock speed.

>made in korea
Yea you can get that commie shit outta here

according to what benchmarks?

>hurr durr made in korea commie shit
>look at me shitposting from my chink shit faggot book pro while a suck massive nigger dick

end your life you fucking cancerous shitposting shit slurping faggot

> (OP)
>just build a fucking nas for fuck's sake
>not just throwing a C2 and some usb hard drives into a cardboard box
It's almost like you enjoy throwing money away

Im noticing a distinct lack of gpio here.
What the fuck even is the point of this thing?

Odroid XU4 has 4x Cortex-A15 cores clocked at 2 GHz

Banana Pi M3 has 8x Cortex-A7 cores clocked at 1.8 GHz

Odroid C2 has 4x Cortex-A53 cores clocked at 1.5 GHz

You could just buy a router with a USB port if you only need one drive

Try configuring router to only use VPN for the BitTorrent traffic running off of the attached drive.

It's $50 for single drive solution unless you want a mess of cables and use the usb port for another drive. You still have a mess of cables everywhere because of the AC adapter. Also not cheap considering you can get a tidy 4-bay NAS for $250.

Can probably do it with DD-WRT or Tomato. I don't care enough to look into it though.

>Also not cheap considering you can get a tidy 4-bay NAS for $250.
And that's just for the enclosure i reckon.
You can get a C2 and 6TB of 2.5" disks for that money.

>communist gooks on damage control

yeah have fun with your clusterfuck of cables and exposed everything all over the place you slob.
