>>Not Wangblows But you can install Wangblows on it.

In what way is it better, than, say, an Elitebook running a dualboot Win7/10 and Mint?
Keep in mind that I'm not a fan of macOS, and don't use customer support.
Luis Barnes
>Better how?
By every way.
It's not a plastic piece of shit.
And it's not a gook machine.
Parker Watson
Why have there been like a dozen apple shill threads the past couple days?
Aiden Russell
Did you not click on or hover over the image? The Elitebook is metal.
Alexander Powell
Nice blog post. And one more thing: sage and report shill threads.
Carson Brooks
Elitebooks use a magnesium alloy for the chassis. They also have hardware features that the macbook doesn't have. Like the spill resistant keyboard (which would be useful for the apple fans, considering how often I see a picture of macbooks sitting on a bed with a glass of milk sitting on top of them.
Jace Martinez
am I the only one who hate these left and right arrow keys?
>Magnesium alloy chassis >a full magnesium alloy chassis creates an incredibly strong case to protect the top and bottom of the notebook against rigorous usage. Magnesium alloy is 18 times stiffer than comparable plastic (PC/abs) components. This solid foundation makes a big difference when it comes to protecting your notebook against rough days in the working world.
>Aircraft-inspired construction >inspired by aircraft construction for its durability, precision and lightness, our new magnesium/aluminum display enclosure uses an inner magnesium shell with a honeycomb pattern that is thermally bonded to an anodized aluminum sheet. When your notebook gets squeezed in an overhead baggage compartment, you’ll be glad you’ve got our business rugged construction on your side. This layered construction is 50 percent stronger than magnesium alone, and helps protect the notebook’s display against impact.
>To demonstrate the strength of the HP DuraCase, we applied up to 1,800 pounds of force to a vehicle tire resting on the display enclosure. The HP DuraCase protected the display up to 1,000 pounds of force, and the notebook continued to operate attached to an external display when subjected to up to 1,800 pounds of force. The HP DuraCase is designed to handle the daily stress of a mobile lifestyle.
>When your notebook takes a hard hit, there’s a lot on the line. a cracked display, broken case or bent hinge could leave you with an inoperable PC—and bring your work to a halt. With so much at stake, you need a business notebook that’s business rugged. That’s the HP Elitebook series—notebooks that are equipped with a spill-resistant keyboard, a shock-mounted hard drive and a long-life battery.
Your response?
Jason Myers
Wouldn't those up and down keys be more prone to hatred than the left and right ones?
David Morris
>Your response?
It's not a MacBook Pro.
Dominic Cook
that's true but these keys are much better. Yes they are half the size of the other keys on the keyboard but at least they are all the same size. It's a lot easier to feel them than those irregular keys I posted above.
Christian Moore
Obviously. But I am asking you to defend your claim that the macbook pro is better "in every way," which you made here:
Carson Foster
>>Supports almost all mainstream Applications from Adobe, Autodesk, Black Magic, etc. >Autodesk That's where you're wrong, kiddo.
Landon Lewis
i defended it.
Here's my response:
Mason Sanders
I understand that it's a 2008 computer so I won't be a dick about it but I had one of those HP laptops that was manufactured in 2013. Yeah the build is very good but the difference between Apple and HP is this: >1366x768 screen >3 hours battery >5400rpm HDD Apple will never cut costs that way, that's why they are expensive.
Nicholas Perry
Yes, but in what way is the Macbook better in regards to what I listed? Or are you just blown the fuck out?
Daniel Perez
Ok, but the claim was that Apple was better "in every way." Not in some ways, but in ALL ways. You need to defend that claim, or cede it.
Nolan Flores
I just told you, MacBook Pro's are superior because they're Macs.
Are you that dense?
Christopher Martin
I must be, because I don't see how something can be better at physical abuse simply because of a logo.
Thomas Reed
My old EliteBook came with a 1920x1080 display and a 7200RPM HDD. Thankfully, due to it not being a shitty Apple product, I can change that HDD out for an SSD without any problems. The only problem with it is that the battery life isn't fantastic, but mind you, it has an old SB i7, and I typically never have to use it somewhere that I can't just charge the laptop.
Josiah Fisher
You still don't understand because you're an Indian from Bangladesh and you lack any imagination. Your palms are also white and your skin is nigger coloured.
Macs are better than PCs by miles. They are superior in every way.
>inb4 Macs are PCs
No, they're not. Macs are more akin to a appliance, like a Braun shaver or a Braun radio.
Jackson Hughes
Not Indian. White. People who make claims don't need to rely on the imagination of others; they can back up said claims.
>Macs are better than PCs by miles. They are superior in every way. How? Be sure to cite sources.
Bentley Miller
>White
Sure thing, Rakeesh.
HP, Dell and all these other manufacturers are ran by Indians and Chinks.
Apple is the only white owned/ran company in the world that makes actual good products that last for a very long time.
If you were really white, you would support Apple.
Hudson Perry
And one fatal flaw, it doesn't come in black.
Jack Reyes
>shitty outdated hardware
Joseph Rivera
>HP, Dell and all these other manufacturers are ran by Indians and Chinks. Ok, but that doesn't mean that I'm Indian.
>Apple is the only white owned/ran company in the world that makes actual good products that last for a very long time. So you are saying that apple is the superior product simply due to it being owned and ran by whites, even if the products are produced in Asia? Is that your argument to why the Apple computer is more rugged than the Elitebook? If so, I'm going to need to see some sources that explain how simply by being designed by white people, a product is automatically tougher.
>If you were really white, you would support Apple. I do. I own an iPhone 6s. That doesn't mean their Macbooks are tougher than Elitebooks, and, if they aren't, then Macbooks are not better than Elitebooks "in every way."
Nolan Walker
>white owned/ran company
Also comes with 600% white/trump tax.
Aaron Hernandez
>$2700 >zero repairability >keyboard while good, is super unreliable to the point where they are abandoning it in the 2018 model >screen uniformity is a crapshoot >hard throttles at 75c to 1.9ghz with the fans at max speed, even with throttle stop >cannot use dGPU and cpu for longer than 15 minute
The sad part is that even with all those negatives it's still the best laptop on the market. The user experience when it works is unparalleled and the screen is simply drop dead gorgeous.
Meanwhile windows trackpads are shit and the screen it uses often are plagued by pwm issues or are just straight up inferior. If there's even a single windows laptop with a screen that comes close to the mbp I would jump ship immediately.
Isaac Richardson

Apple is superior because they have the best designers, engineers and industrial designers in the world of any company.
Look at the white papers about User Interface from the 1980s about human interaction. Apple is the only one that gives a shit about this stuff.
All these other companies just live off Apple's coattails, especially the unibody design that came out literally 7 years ago and everyone jumped on it.
I'm not going to even get started on Wangblows 10, that piece of shit botnet can never live on any computer I'm near or I will throw up.
>inb4 b-but *snorts* Loonix!!
Loonix is useless and has no real world usage unless you're some techno geek virgin IT sysadmin or a gay faggot programmer making obscure open-source useless ugly applications no one uses.

Bentley Gray
Once again, you aren't explaining how a Macbook is superior "in every way," in comparison to an elitebook.
I'm not even going to bother fighting you on literally everything else you just listed here, as it is pointless, because if you can't prove that the Macbook is tougher than the elitebook, then it isn't better "in every way," which is what you claimed.
You can keep trying to shift the subject, and I'll just keep bringing it right back to durability until you either prove that macs are more durable than elitebooks, or cede the argument that macs are "better in every way."
Colton Jenkins
kek scrimping out on a delete key to save some shekels and you're there with damage control. nicely played user.
Benjamin Nelson
>Ad-hominem attacks
Easy there, tiger.
So, according to you, I have brain damage because I use a particular set of tools that I prefer?
Also I like supporting companies that have good values, rather than supporting some pajeet-piece of shit like Microwang and Jewish owned Dell (literally) who sell your data and don't give a shit about you.
Oliver Nelson
>>better OS
LOL
Jaxon Harris
You're retarded. Period.
Nathan Garcia
Plenty of explanations here why they are better, you just choose to ignore it because you are an Indian from Bangladesh.
>Macbook is tougher
If you want a tough laptop, get a Panasonic Toughbook. Are you in the army or something?
Also what the fuck are you doing with your laptop that requires you to drop it? Are you furiously masturbating to trap porn and then slamming your dick with the clamshell?
I've been using Macs since the late 90s and what I'm typing from right now is probably my 15th Apple laptop and I've never had it bend or anything. I take care of things I own, unlike poojets who can't even use toilets.
>Doesn't understand what an ultrabook is.
Joshua Cooper
You seem angry and defeated.
Poor fella.
Nicholas Cook
Dude, saying that you prefer to use apple as a tool is like saying you prefer to smear shit on a canvas over conventional paint.
Jackson Evans
15 laptops... Why did you need that many? Do they only last 8 months each time?
Mason Miller
>Plenty of explanations here why they are better, you just choose to ignore it because you are an Indian from Bangladesh.
Like I said, just because a computer is better in an all-around sense, doesn't mean that it is better "in every way."
>Panasonic Toughbook That doesn't sound like it's made by Apple. I thought Apple was superior "in every way?"
>Also what the fuck are you doing with your laptop that requires you to drop it? We aren't talking about needs. We are talking about how Apple is superior "in every way," to an Elitebook. I'm challenging that claim. I would also challenge the claim that a Ferrari is superior "in every way," to a Prius by asking about the MPG that the Ferrari has.
>I take care of things I own Irrelevant to whether the things you own are "superior in every way," to the competition.
Mason Thomas
>I've been using Macs since the late 90s and what I'm typing from right now is probably my 15th Apple laptop Do you have beats headphones too?

Easton Cook
>smear shit
No, that's what your people prefer, Rakeesh.
Jacob Jackson
>That doesn't sound like it's made by Apple. I thought Apple was superior "in every way?"
No, idiot.
The point of it being is if you need some tough notebook, get the one from Panasonic.
You will be in the %0.00000001 percentile of users who need something like that.
Enjoy being lonely. And a faggot.
> I'm challenging that claim.
No one cares about your "challenges" Rakeesh. Maybe stop making smelly curry and we can come to a conclusion.
You seem angry and poor and you can't afford a MacBook Pro. Not my problem. Find a job and stop living with your mummy.
No, but I do have Audeze LCD3 + Auralic AMPs.
Same thing.
Ayden Taylor
>Audeze LCD3 >Auralic AMP Very flashy, a brash show of wealth isn't very subtle or endearing. Instead of going down the comedy path you're going on full argument mode. Maybe the operating system of a mac turns people into plebs. Built in smug telemetry.
Levi Wood
So, you are modifying your claim that Apple's products are superior "in every way," then?
If not, you need to prove that Apple's computers are tougher, and provide sources for said claims.
Also, have you ever responded to me with anything higher than "responding to tone," on the argument pyramid? Because you seem to be having some difficulty backing off of the claim that Apple computers are "superior in every way," and resorting to trying to move goalposts, ad hominems, responding to tone, and name calling, as if those would actually win the argument and not make you look biased to the point of being unable to accept basic facts.
Joseph Watson
I wonder why telling others you like apple products turn some perfectly functioning individuals into full blown autists
Jack Martinez
I don't mind that you like apple products. Again, I use an iPhone. I take issue with the fact that you think that Apple computers are superior in every way. The fact that you can't even say, "Yeah. You're right. They aren't superior in all ways, but they are the best all-around devices," has actually been pretty funny to watch unfold, which is why I keep returning to the same subject, because you won't say Apple is worse in that respect, but you refuse to say how it's better, either.
Ethan Bell
I'm not even arguing here, I'm laughing at you poor morons.
I just think you seem poor and don't understand the difference between a Four Star Michellin rated restaurant and McDonalds.
Michael Perry
Do you think a Four Star Michellin rated restaurant is better "in every way," when compared to McDonald's?
Nathaniel Smith
You're purposefully avoiding having to prove your statement. You said Macbooks were better in every way, you were asked numerous times to prove this yet pretended not to see it and now you're resorting to name-calling.
Thomas Torres
>Apple will never cut costs that way >1366x768 screen Macbook Air 11" has exactly that to this day. Equivalently old Macbook Pros had 1280x800 and 1440x900 as standard, the 13" Macbook Air is still 1440x900. >3 hour battery 2008 Macbook Pros were quoted at 3+ hours. >5400rpm hdd The standard HDD on literally every single Macbook Pro before they switched over to SSDs was 5400rpm
Ayden Gutierrez
>no u Hot arguments for macfag standards.
Easton Hill
I'm not going to let some tire expert tell me what food I should eat. I cook my own food and can cook many different cuisines. You'd let some sweating chef fondle your food to create a girly image on your plate and consume all that filth off his hands. I think I've got my priorities right.
Anthony Perez
BTFO
Sebastian Price
Dude it's easy enough to understand what his point was, you're trying really hard to get him to change his argument to "better in every way sans durability compared with a certain laptop" which is just unecessary
Asher Long
>Do you think a Four Star Michellin rated restaurant is better "in every way," when compared to McDonald's?
Absolutely, in every way.
Both have one function in common: will fill your hunger and give you some nutrients. Both will make you take a shit.
But where they differ is the person that enjoys the rare cooked Ribeye Steak by a world renown chef knows about life more than you do.
MacBook Pros are better than every laptop on the market.
It proves itself by being the best.
Grayson Young
If he made that argument, I would move onto another subject, and see if he could successfully defend against that.
Dylan Phillips
Are you going to move to food analogies now to avoid proving your claim?
>stop making people prove their points!
I await your evidence for yet another baseless claim.
Samuel Diaz
>I cook my own food
Hey, chilli cheese fries don't count, John.
Aiden Barnes
>Absolutely, in every way. Show me a 4 Star Michelin restaurant that prepares and serves a customer his food as quickly as McDonalds. Keep in mind that the target time for McDonalds is 3 minutes from the time the "Subtotal" button is pressed on the register.
Juan Rogers
I bet you're a virgin or you last 2 minutes with a girl.
That is, if you even have met a girl, ever, you autist.

Aluminium unibodies are literally the fucking worst, they scratch easily, break easily, mine even carries a fucking slight electrical signal
Jason Jones
What is your argument exactly?
It still doesn't beat that Apple makes superior products.
Enjoy your Big Mac and I'll enjoy my Rib eye steak.
>Another ad hominem? You probably don't even know what that means, child.
Owen Long
Proving my claim about what? There is more than one person replying to you. >chilli cheese fries don't count It just werks for me haha
Alexander Reed
My argument was that you claimed macbooks were superior in every way, were asked several times to produce evidence regarding durability and pretended not to see it. Like you're doing now.
Ayden Wood
>It just werks for me Because you probably have never left Charlottesville, Virginia. pleb.
You clearly have no life experience and Sup Forums is your outlet.
Ryan Hill
They do it even fucking better you fucking retard.
I book a fucking reservation for a michelin star restaurant and within 10 minutes I will have a 12 course meal with carefully planned respites between each course.
Julian Powell
>You probably don't even know what that means, child.
I posted the argument pyramid. You attacked my characteristics by saying that I had no experience with women (as if that has anything to do with food prep times, even if your accusation was true). You also used name-calling, by calling me an autist.
Funny how neither of those things proves the existence of a 4 Star Michelin restaurant that gets prepared food in the hands of customers as quickly as McDonalds, or that Macs are the most durable computers on the market.
Luke Morgan
You have no argument and you know you're wrong.
Dylan Adams
Sure you do.
Jace Clark
>I'm going to keep pretending not to see that he asked for proof again
Jordan Johnson
How many planned respites can there be for a tweve course meal eaten within 10 minutes? That's like a 20 second respite, presuming that there is 30 seconds of eating per course.
Blake Roberts
>I'm going to pretend to be smart but everyone knows I'm dumb and poor and can't afford a Ribeye Steak.
Samuel Jackson
Another ad hominem?
Eli Smith
i'm not macdaddy >Charlottesville, Virginia That's a very specific location, got some coordinates to tie into your put down to make even more of an impact?
i'm sure there are plenty of lovely people in Virginia. What's your problem with the people there?

>I'm a homo
Oliver Parker
Finally someone with some damn sense. Thinkpads are fine, but if there's anything I fucking hate with a passion it's Windows. Mac OS, Linux, or GTFO.
Liam Cook
Thank you for letting me know, but it is irrelevant to the conversation we are having.
Colton Ortiz
>What's your problem with the people there? Triggered ya didn't I?
You must be from there.
Jack Fisher
I used to be a huge macfaggot myself used it since powerpc. They sure do make pretty products but they just aren't useful in any kind of power user application. Stop calling it macOS it's not macOS is OSX. The last non gimmick OSX was 10.6. I also love the you can run windows on a mac meme. You can run mac OSX on windows but it's just for novelty purposes.
Mason Brown

You still haven't proved your claim. Good to know you admit defeat.
