I like this, keep doing it

Source on that chinese cartoon?

It's literally the same shit as MPC-HC, WMP and VLC, there is zero difference between them except for the UI. Fucking off yourself.

how do i change the default ui for that one?

Go to hell animetards

>It's literally the same shit as MPC-HC, WMP and VLC, there is zero difference between them except for the UI.

apocypha

Even if it was like that its a good enough reason to use mpv.

Fate/Apocrypha
It's dogshit and will only get worse. Mordred is great though.

>It's dogshit and will only get worse
>will only get worse
How can it get any worse...?

Sieg. It's always Sieg.

It looks like that out of the box.

how does it feel
to be so wrong?

does it work with SVP?

Yeah.

# Toggle volume normalization
F1 af toggle "lavfi=[loudnorm=I=-18:TP=-1.5:LRA=1]"

makes movies watchable.. no more adjusting the audio up and down for dialog and action scenes

What are those settings? loudnorm TP LRA?

I genuinely don't understand this one

What do you call this?

Hi
Go to hell

remember to report the ban evading faggot

Is solus-os the new ubuntu aka linux for human beings?

And it has gnome-mpv (based on mpv) included!
Yes, it's maybe nothing for advanced users but that's a huge victory for mpv.

KEVIIIIIINN

I am happy haasn finally stopped doing Python/Tensorflow shits and came back to puuuuuuure C.

Much better than being a windows retard or osx fag, you know!

Let's track him and put him behind his keyboard now! :D

>shit>shit

I asked loudnorm support in the kodi irc months ago.
Now I am a plex retard because they are too slow.

an awful osc

*useful ;)

You know you can use mpv with kodi, right?

all you really need is a progress bar and maybe the 'minutes remaining' timecode

Yes but there is plexmediaplayer that fully integrates mpv and its awesome features.

You can use the same features with kodi...
And kodi works the same way. Pick your stream through kodis UI, then mpv will open instead of the default player.

I use SMPlayer with mpv.

Even worse than using windows.

Too slow GPU!

Update website screenshot!

Does ytdl-format=bestvideo[height

You want some anime instead of current pic? It would make sense because mpv is the best anime player currently and most of the devs are anime fans!

>I'm not madshi but... come on... we have a developer giving away the best video renderer on the market for free. How do you manage to be unsatisfied by this? I can relate to the anticipation and excitement for new releases, but pressuring him seems downright rude to me.
Is he serious?
He is probably a more than 60-year-old Windows XP user.

Website screenshot has old UI without volume control.

What is the best anime to use in screenshot on mpv site?

hanako-chan armpit desu

fate _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _

monogatari

How do I get an input.conf to work only during a specific profile?
If I use input-conf it just gives me this error:
Error parsing option input-conf (option parameter could not be parsed)

>_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _
stay night?

Im about to install Kubuntu. Hows mpv on it? What opengl-backend it uses on Linux?

Yuushas

Naruto, Bleach or Gurren Laggan.

Agreed

nyaa.pantsu.cat/view/967102

Does madshi suffer from burn-out syndrome?
I was a win/mad fag. Who hasn't been it once in his life? I am wondering because he is the one who discovered smoothmotion/interpolation algorithm and it's probably my favourite mpv feature.

Wait for windows workstation, dumbass.

>haasn's activity: end June to early September
>madshi's activity: end August to early June
Prove me they are not the same person!

Is it possible for "FLCL ED" to be replaced with the filename?

...

In going with the kubrick theme, the next screenshot should be this

Hello mpv fans and Sup Forums retards.

- NGU-AA Medium is better and faster than any ravu variants.
- NGU Sharp High is better than SSSR with same resources usage.
- Interpolation is very much slower than madVR smoothmotion.
- Adaptive sharpen is a disaster on madVR and mpv, but faster on mpv.
- However, madVR has better/smarter sharpening filters.

...

anime player.

What do i need to put in my config to get some "svp"- like interpolation so that it looks good both in animation and live-action?

What kind of interpolation you want?

Let them circle jerk in their weird thread, just ignore the shills man.

Which is the better encode?
screenshotcomparison.com/comparison/114745
Leaning towards A.

Tell me group names or upload screens here.

obviously pokemon, dbz, or sailor moon.

Too big, one is a 4MB screenshot.

But the groups are Coalgirls and a downscale Dragon-Releases

Put this line in your mpv config:

title=${metadata/title:${filename}}

You have to use svp for that.

>Dragon-Releases
NO.

How do you know if the meme shaders are working?

I tried using

>opengl-shader="C:\Users\Lewd\AppData\Roaming\mpv\shaders\KrigBilateral.glsl"
>opengl-shader="C:\Users\Lewd\AppData\Roaming\mpv\shaders\SSimDownscaler.glsl"

And see no difference

Am I supposed to use

>opengl-shaders="C:\Program Files\mpv\shaders\KrigBilateral.glsl;C:\Program Files\mpv\shaders\SSimDownscaler.glsl"

Instead?

Care to elaborate? Here are two screenshots, please explain why one is horribly worse than the other:
0x0.st/nc1.png
0x0.st/nce.png

Use stats.lua.

It doesn't say anything about the shaders

Press "2" during stats.

Thanks... Does swdec mean it's using shaders?

No. swdec means you use software decoder. Try adding opengl-backend=dxinterop into config.

something like this on page 2

Damn. Idk why my shit won't display then.
Can you post your config?

>Idk why my shit won't display then.
Did you try ?

Yeah

profile=opengl-hq
cscale=bicubic_fast
scale=ewa_lanczossharp

opengl-shader="C:/Users/Kyle/AppData/Roaming/mpv/shaders/KrigBilateral.glsl"
opengl-shader="C:/Users/Kyle/AppData/Roaming/mpv/shaders/SSimDownscaler.glsl"
opengl-backend=dxinterop
tscale=oversample
video-sync=display-resample
interpolation
dscale=mitchell
deinterlace=auto
blend-subtitles
hwdec=no

What addon/script do I need to see a more comprehensive breakdown of late and dropped frames than what the console says?
