鬼(it)が「もういいかい」と聞いて、隠れる人たちが「まーだだよ」or「もーいいよ」と答えるの。
「まだみたい」は鬼が言っているので、it's implying that 'It' is not getting any reply or playing the hide and seek all alone...I think.

When I had it in my gameboy I just always played it alone and never traded any Pokemon. Never played with the thing outside. It was only ever a feature and never a crucial part of the game.
This is barely a Pokemon game though.

This is a story from like 2006 or so when Sup Forums raids were all the rage with the kiddies.
There were several raids on 2chn and 2channel and whatever.
People pretending to be Americans talking about dropping more nukes, people pretending to be Japanese saying WHITE PIGS GO HOME
Meantime Japanese posters were mostly confused and just barely annoyed. At some point they just banned all foreign IPs during one such raid.
Not sure if it's in direct correlation, but that's the way I remember it.
2007 was the best time for Sup Forums btw. All the Code Geass threads, watching Code Geass live with everyone and just shitting bricks over each train wreck of an episode... Good times...
