How does Sup Forums feel about torrenting files you don't own the rights for?

Feels good man
Saged

Good.

I would use money if I had it to spare. If I did not torrent it, then I would not enjoy it at all.

That image is completely degenerate, but Trudeau seems like such a fun and charming guy.

...

Intellectual property isn't property at all, so it doesn't bother me.

Good, why wouldn't I?
Borrowing isn't theft. ;^)

Normal, I guess.
couldn't care less about those MAFIAA fags

Feel's good

If you're not the creator, you don't own the rights to it anyway

Trudeau is a cultureless degenerate as well

But look at the guy, so endearing.

Pretty guud desu.

Marry me.

Pretty good. Movie studios, game studios, and software studios are making more profits than ever.

Feels even better when I got a ratio of 10+

>own
Property is theft.

Say that to his face and not online.

>good audio
>good video
>no buffering
>free
Feels pretty good

people stream thousands of files they don't own rights to via Shitflix or Amazon Prime video so who cares

Intellectual property is statist idea that no true capitalist respects. But torrenting everything is far less convenient than streaming and Amazon and Netflix are great for that.

How does one own a right?

copyright is the right holders issue. if they can't enforce it, that's their problem.

>muh convenience
enjoy being used

It's worth it.

Mostly disdainful towards the rights holders.

I mostly pirate old games and obscure shit, the sort of stuff I cant easily get legitimately.

When it comes to actual people and not corporations and what have you hording that shit like a confused dragon, I am some what sympathetic.

I pirated GTA V, was going to buy it properly for multiplayer but on investigation rockstar is whoring for Micro-transactions and failing to fix the supposedly reactive stockmarkets and a number of other issues. So they can eat shit.

I mostly torrent porn, old games and anime since you can't get any outside of America and Japan and are even blocking VPNs, so doing everything they can to not me giving them money.

I don't bother with western media since it's easily obtainable elsewhere and also dangerous via torrents (i.e. lawyers and shit), maybe I get some newer games here and there I pay for most but don't really care.

But I can't understand why people get genuinely mad of people pirating stuff. There's no reason to except they're working for the corporation

Also it feels good, OP.
Torrenting itself is kinda interesting, I sometimes just watch the Peerlist how I am sending and receiving stuff from other computers around the world, it's like magic. And you're kinda contributing and helping others getting their stuff

I usually only torrent obscure or otherwise unobtainable shit.

It sounds like more and more people are getting busted for torrenting copyrighted stuff.
What is a good torrenter friendly vpn that can handle 100mbp speeds?

you want a seedbox, not a VPN, if the only reason you're interested is torrenting.

that's partially it but I also want a vpn for when I go to starbucks

Many seedboxes have OpenVPN. The difference being you get one server in one country instead of the many a VPN provider gives. Even if they don't you can just use an SSH tunnel.

thanks man

The owners of the files give me permission when they seed it, so there's no problem

>there are people who watch Chinese cartoons and screenshot them from their phone

'Publishers often refer to copying they don't approve of as “piracy.” In this way, they imply that it is ethically equivalent to attacking ships on the high seas, kidnapping and murdering the people on them. Based on such propaganda, they have procured laws in most of the world to forbid copying in most (or sometimes all) circumstances. (They are still pressuring to make these prohibitions more complete.)

If you don't believe that copying not approved by the publisher is just like kidnapping and murder, you might prefer not to use the word “piracy” to describe it. Neutral terms such as “unauthorized copying” (or “prohibited copying” for the situation where it is illegal) are available for use instead. Some of us might even prefer to use a positive term such as “sharing information with your neighbor.”'

I use PIA.

Fine, I usually end up buying whatever it is I torrented at some point, unless I never get around to using it or I don't like it. And if I don't like it I delete it
