Is C and PHP the perfect couple of programming languages?

Is C and PHP the perfect couple of programming languages?

Why is Node.JS not in this infographic?

Meh, php is okay. Not great, not special, nor professional tier, but its okay.

Because its below shit and Sup Forums tier.

this

I don't like PHP, and typically think of it as "shit tier" as a language, but in terms of professionals who want to make money, PHP is professional tier.

While you could say that "herp derp professionals can make money with any of those languages herp derp"

Not as a programer...

99.99% of Scala / Ruby jobs require you to be a hipster so your real job is just being a fucking hipster.

99.99% of Java, C# developers are new college grads or winderps fan-bois who never learned anything else. These are both a "first language", and rarely used in anything that doesn't require farms of these kinds of developers.

Perl, C++ or PHP are typically all languages people get because the actual job is programing. These are not going to be a first language, or often not even a second. They are a specialized language to fill a professional demand.

Python / C / ASM typically are languages you turn to when you have a paying or personal project that needs to be done, and done right.

Its too bloated to fit on the infographic

scala + go + maybe some js

scala is perfect

Perl is hacker tier

The only important coding language is the one that your job requires.

perl is an absolute monster at parsing.

Yes.

You have no idea what you're talking about.

t. person who's never written a line of code in their life

Never before have I seen a post with so little value

Python is shit tier and C# is botnet tier

Got anything better sameposter?

Actually, I thought he had things pretty much right.

I have a job tier:
C, C++, C#, Java, Python, PHP, HTML/CSS/JS

NEET:
Everything else

Is learning perl worth it if I know python

it's amazing how mad brainlets get when faced with objective facts, YIKES

probably not but it can't hurt to give it a look, then learn it if you like what you see

>enterprise standard
>shit tier
Image was made by CS dropout.

Swap Perl and Python.
