>failfox
He should have never bother with this port. Maybe you retards would finally pick a worthy browser.

another reason to use pale moon and waterfox since both will support legacy addons

>AHAHAHA Firefox is DONE
This will be the final nail in the coffin for many people.

The stupidity of Sup Forums is overwhelming.

Disregard Pale Moon, it's proprietary:
palemoon.org/redist.shtml
> redistribution of the Pale Moon binaries (executable form) is limited by certain conditions under a proprietary license by Moonchild Productions

Manchild* productions

That's if you're going to redistribute them yourself, firefox does the same thing.

But Firefox does it under open source license, Pale Moon does it under proprietary one. Don't trust furfag manchild.

I download from his github, big deal.

And Firefox also has trademark art and branding, making it proprietary since for years mozilla forbid you to make changes with their branding.

It's not proprietary, they do it under open-source MPL 2.0 license, but furfag manchild
uses it's own proprietary license, just read it,.

>it's proprietary
t. pajeet who can't even quote correctly
>The binaries are not supplied as an integral part of a commercial/non-commercial website/web service/on-line venue/etc. ("service"). If you wish to do this, you must contact me beforehand to obtain permission and discuss terms. Inclusion in a service will be subject to an individual agreement (either extemporaneous or legalized) which may or may not involve compensation.

They do this to prevent people to include ad-ware in executable

> They do this to prevent people to include ad-ware in executable
He could've used MLP 2.0 license as it is, it's does the same job. So it's not an excuse.

:)

You are illiterate
The browser uses Mozilla Public License v2.0 what is not under MPL 2.0 is some tools and the logo/name
palemoon.org/faq.shtml
palemoon.org/freeware-license.shtml

Enjoy your proprietary botnet.

And what? It's proprietary, even manchild clearly states that, so there is no excuse. It's just doable-standards.

>there's a bug in AMO
wtf I hate mozilla now. installing chrome

>If I just keep throwing around buzzwords, maybe people will think I'm smart

Install Pale Moon, same proprietary bullshit as chrome.

bait

People will think i'm don't endorse proprietary software.

>It's okay when mozilla does it

and 5 times slower

MLP 2.0 does the same job, and he used proprietary license for this, and you calling it a bait?

Yes, It's okay as long it's under open-source license.

gorshill fuck off

fuck this shit, I'm halting updates soon

>MLP

>the state of Firefox

how does chrome do it? it's filled to the brim with botnet, still it's lightning fast and responsive as fuck.

>FireShot

kek BTFO

But I'm using it on Nightly right now though.

wait I just switched to pale moon, am I going to have to switch again soon?

>Shift+F2, "restart"
That one's actually useful, remembered for the future.
>Shift+F2, "screenshot --fullpage --clipboard" plus your favorite image editor
That one massively fucks up scaled images and is why I had to install Fireshot. Already filed a bug report to mozilla. They acknowledged it but didn't fix it in 2 years.
>A few lines of css in userchrome.css
If you make it for me, sure. Can't be bothered studying up on it just for this.
>curl
too much work for some testing, especially since I can't just copypaste the input from HttpFox
>stylus
Does that work with userstyles.org? Cause I develope stuff there which people use.

Switch right away, don't use prorpitetary software when you have free and open-source alternative.

nah yr fine

Which is?

>The profile migration tool, web installer stub, and some other helper applications are released under a different freeware license. These tools are not part of the browser and do not need to be Open Source. You also in no way need these tools to be able to fully use the browser in all its facets. There is no requirement or even reason why I should be forced to also release helper applications that are in no way tied to browser operation as Open Source as well.

fucking furries man

Firefox/Waterfox.

MPL prohibits you from making your own Firefox branded browser.
Period.

>Mint
it doesnt matter how many privacy enhancing programs you use. linux mint is sapped by french spies.

Firefox shill, how much does Soros pay?
how do I get in on the shill cash?

no (you)rs is
bye summer

github.com/gorhill/uBlock/pull/2758

This guy's GitHub page is pretty neat:
github.com/jsrjenkins

The people that use uBlock Origin continue to amaze me...

>SJWfox problems
Firefox is dead. v57 is an abomination. It's a Chrome knockoff with absolutely no advantages over Chrome. It's slower and less secure than Chrome and has less addons... excuse me, "web extensions".

Isn't diversity great?!?!? Browser's now shit but retards of various shades of black, and genders you can't even pronounce, are now getting paid and they're in managerial roles.

>Sup Forumstard screeching
Firefox is not dead. It sees active delopment.
It is not a chrome knockoff; Servo's Stylo CSS engine is a massive performance boost over prior versions.
>slower
Wrong
>less secure

>less addons
Porting to WebExtensions is doable, not only that, there are more APIs available for Mozilla Firefox than for say, Chrome/ium. As a result, a NoScript port is in the works. Several addons have issues on Bugzilla and they are being worked on.
>muh diversity!!!!!!!!!!
>muh SOROS!!! xDDD

Kill yourself

>firecuck is mad
enjoy that butthurt feeling, sjw scum.

Need more real world examples pal

>Need more real world examples pal
Firefox has THE HIGHEST NUMBER of code execution CVEs! More than any other browser. Even in 2017!

It's absolute garbage of a browser and the very last browser that got sandboxing.

>More than IE and Egde
wew lad

Trivial non-serious exploits, sure. For example, a more recent one was a "denial of service" related to usernames and passwords. If you threw something like:

LongUsername:LongPassword@YourSite into the address bar you could hang the browser because the dialog box would be incredibly large. These exploits aren't as important, and are rare, and are quickly fixed. The aren't serious exploits, say for example a remote code execution. That would be serious, and those are rare.

Right now even there is an unfixed exploit in Google Chrome that allows you to hang the browser due to the way that a certain unicode character is handled by the parser. Due to an attacker leveraging this exploit he killed about 9,000 clients across Discord. Bug remains unfixed and unreported in upstream Chromium.

twitter.com/peacetoallah/status/889886610996768768

Meanwhile, this doesn't effect Firefox..

>tfw dl'ing and installing brave browser
>just to uninstall it

Take that DRUMPFLETS.

FUCK your neo nazi web browser.

>Trivial non-serious exploits, sure
I sad CODE EXECUTIONS. You know, those classified with 9 and higher.

See pic related.

Firefox is absolute shit when it comes to security. Its sandbox is the least mature and is at least 3-4 years behind the security and stability of other ones... which have been battle-tested for close to a decade.

>This browser has the most exploits out of any other
>Yeah but they're mostly trivial exploits!
They're still exploits you sperg, it's a massively insecure browser.

nice shoop

Yes it is gumby
