95% accurate

Where's netrunner?

overall it is kinda accurate.
>Waterfox
doesn't deserve to be in excellent tier. doesn't deserve most of the shilling it gets here.
>Brave
it's OK, i guess. modern and everything, but the business model is cancer and it doesn't do anything on a particularly amazing level.
>Sleipnir
why recommend this at all? it's realigned chrome with the only thing going for it is the godly font rendering. it still calls home to Google and the customization is nonexistent.

if only Dooble/qute had Sup Forums-x working with them, I would be satisfied with those forever

Waterfox is fucking placebo tier.

a thousand times this. nice icon, though

I just use Qute for Youtube browsing since it works really well with mpv.

Considering nightly right now is faster than Firefox thanks to the 57.0 codebase changes, not 100% accurate anymore.

>Pale Moon
That's autism tier. Amateur fork that uses an old Gecko codebase and thinks he alone can somehow keep up.

>That Soros bullshit
Wasn't it confirmed fake news?

>puffin browser
>botnet
Its nice for mobile

I found Brave to be extremely slow and buggy on my PC. Granted, it's almost a toaster, but everything else runs great, including Chrome

the Soros shit was indeed fake news/gross misinterpretation, but Firefox's movements towards Chrome-esque buttnuting (not quite there, but getting there) makes me a bit concerned anyway. i mean, yeah, you can disable pretty much all of the issues in about:config, but still

regardless, i would still rather use Nightly/FF over forks like Waterfox which do so little as to not even be worth mentioning

also Pale Moon is a good option for those who want to use old Firefox. garbage hardware acceleration / smooth scrolling triggers my autism, though.

Waterfox is custom-config ESR x86_64 build, right? At most some source code changes to disable further stuff.

Honestly that's not too bad as far as forks go. I'd feel more secure using that than Pale Moon and its crazy endeavor.

...

What does Waterfox even remove that a privacy focused about:config doesn't? You can get rid of telemetry without a fork.

>build a version with google tracking and ping and sync disabled

im using the Nik build hosted a woolyss, I know he disables the sync bullshit but what about the other two?

Go to the Chrome entry on installgentoo. There's some patch sets you can grab.

>brave
Not at all.

how

Some user was working on Greasemonkey-support recently. Unfortunately I can't review it right now because I'm focused on exams and then the new config will land (probably causing conflicts), but if he keeps his promise and updates it once that's done, that shouldn't be too far away (at least the Sup Forums-x features which don't need cross-origin requests).

oh, nice. hopefully that all comes through.

In alpha stage.

We all know netrunner is gonna die

Please don't bully netrunner-chan, she tries her best

we all know brave is the best browser desu

shitty graphic (fonts) can't be trusted

Where's surf?

>Vivaldi is botnet
Explain

Literally something some Sup Forumstard made on his own.

Seconded. Seemed pretty benign when I looked at it.

lol

It's proprietary.
You really should have learned about the dangers of non-free software by now.

where's vivaldi?

I meant the graphic, not the browser. Just realized I wasn't exactly clear.

who cares what browser does/sends somewhere when your ISP is selling your history/habits to advertisers who know you better than your mom

That's not why we use HTTPS Everywhere, Friendo.

Just looking at Brave alone, I can tell you it isn't very good. Brave on android is pretty good, but Brave on desktop is unacceptable as is.

So at the end of the day I should just keep using chrome? Because honestly according to you lot every other alternative is just as bad or not worth using?

does it give you crypto shekels yet?

what I want to know is by what metric you spergs are measuring "trust" by, and what you fear will actually happen by this "fight on misinformation".

>firefox
>excellent
Whoever made this chart is a fucking joker.

anything based off pre firefox 57 is slow as fuck
firefox 57 is botnet
chromium phones home (botnet)

Firefox is so slow that I don't understand how it's possible to make a browser render that slow. Even edge is blazing fast in comparison. I've seen Firefox take over a minute to load a page that chrome and edge load in less than 20 seconds.

All browsers are shit now. The sooner you accept this the sooner you can decide which browser dildo is the least uncomfortable.

>firefox 57 is botnet
Can mods put a word filter on "botnet" already?

Instead of focusing on speed and extensibility, Mozilla has been focusing on trying to copy Chrome and adding useless shit like Pocket.

Yeah man, just look at sublime text. Truly, a botnet to rival chrome.

>anything based off pre firefox 57 is slow as fuck
I still remember the thread doing benchmarks and my modified nightly 56 version basically crushed Chrome and was equal to 57 in almost all browser benchmarks that didnt involves some silly fucking flash performance tests, which are utterly irrelevant to me since I dont use flash.

>tfw use normal Chromium because I'm too dumb to figure out how to disconnect the Google stuff

Firefox has become pure cancer.

It's fine. It doesn't send anything to some suspicious server. Feel free to check this with Wireshark for yourselves.
The only people actively bashing it are >muh proprietary fucktards that have no actual reason or proof, much like

Say something about dooble

>HURR DURR HE USES THE WORD BOTNET SO HE MUST BE WRONG
pic related
also it's not just nightly, regular firefox phones home as well (I ran Wireshark scan on about:blank as the only tab with no plugins and it flooded the console)

ran a*
also chromium is even shittier due to less plugins
>modified
there you go
what did you do to modify it exactly?

In wich way Icecat is better than Firefox ?

you obviously have no idea how traffic from ISP POV under https looks like

No, dooble is shit

Have you not seen how detailed ISP logs are?

so what's the best firefox alternative now that it's absolute shit?

It's free

You can disable all of the bonnet shit in the about:config easy.

Nah, Dooble is nice.

>Seamonkey is placebo autism
>Brave and iridium in excellent tier
>midori is shit tier
>implying lynx is extremely useful in some situations
>no links2-gui
this image is shit user

pls explain

In the trash where it and other Sup Forums projects belong

You can add a binding in qutebrowser so that it spawns a command in shell and automatically passes the url of the page you're currently on to mpv. You can also set it up with hint-links.

qutebrowser.org/FAQ.html

that's awesome! Is there a firefox extension that can achieve the same thing? If not I think I'll switch to qutebrowser

That annotation is completely inaccurate. Mozilla did not partner with George Soros. Mozilla is not supporting fact-checking engines.

Not that I know of. I use qute/ungoogled chromium in tandem with one another, though. If only to handle with convenience that which qute can't.

pale moon in not free software it goes to excellent tier

If qute ever gets greasemonkey support, It'll be my favorite browser. But then again the key bindings mingle with my autism in just the right way. Also, it seems to render font a bit better than Chrome/FF

I want to ditch Chrome but need Sup Forums X! I wish it was available on FireFox.

I thought Iridium was botnet...

>bashing Iridium
stop samefagging

Not me you dumb cunt

>((( s o r o s )))

Anyone who falls for the reddit-tier soros meme is a fucking moron.

Brave. It's even made by one of founders of Mozilla.

But it's true you retards. They may not have explicitly said the name "Soros" but that doesn't mean it's false. It's not hard to put two and two together. They even fucking cited a proven fake news source on their Mozilla blog as an example of a credible news source.

Enable "Update to preview releases"

I use puffin to stream flash live porn cam sites

It is not true.

>It's not hard to put two and two together
aka, make shit up because it fits your agenda

Mozilla has no connection to George Soros or fact-checking software or services.

what's the deal with pale moon? why should I switch from firefox?

>Brave
>excellent tier
K Y S

Stop shilling for Mozilla faggot. Try reading the actual articles and maybe learn something. The misinformation program is backed by George Soros and another.

Try reading the actual article yourself. This is the official source from Mozilla: blog.mozilla.org/blog/2017/08/08/mozilla-information-trust-initiative-building-movement-fight-misinformation-online/
Notice anything? There is no mention of what you are accusing Mozilla of.
The Gulf Times article in the OP is simply wrong. MITI has nothing to do with the full fact foundation or fact-checking engines. I don't know where they got that from. But here is an article where a Mozilla employee explains what their intentions are and what they are not.
nakedsecurity.sophos.com/2017/08/22/fake-news-mozilla-joins-the-fight-to-stop-it-polluting-the-web/

>Just because something is false doesn't mean it's false

Holy fuck just end yourself right now lad. Mozilla working on initiatives to get your fat nan to stop sharing clickbait on facebook doesn't mean FF is compromised or working with (((Soros))).

>tfw use seamonkey

At some point someone needs to make a fork of chromium that completely blacklists anything going out to google.

Agreed, but they shouldn't be working on initiatives to control what people click on at all desu.

There's already patch-sets you can download if you're building Chromium yourself, or you can use Iridium/Ungoogled Chromium.

Iridium, Icecat, those

There is ungoogled chromium, but the releases are slow and it's made by a single hobbyist college student, so it's validity should be questioned.
Why do you need to order chromium though? FF nightly has been amazing since 57 landed.

57 also broke most of my add-ons.

Like what?
Every extension I use either has an alternative on webextension or has already been ported.

better options? Waterfox or Pale Moon?

God I hope you're a Sup Forumsack or a Brave shill, because if you aren't trolling then the education system has failed you greatly.

Look up confirmation bias. That's what's happening in your example of "putting two and two together". Just because an idea aligns with what you want to be true, doesn't make it true.

There is no evidence, or proof, at all, yet you make such definitive statements. Get some critical thinking skills dude, please... You're better than this.

Notice anything?

If by "amazing" you mean "finally half the speed of Chromium" then sure

>There is no evidence, or proof, at all, yet you make such definitive statements.
Saying "Soros is not involved" is also a definitive statement, and one for which you have no evidence or proof.

b-b-but it made front page of hacker news.

Pale moon is the only browser with built in furry porn, make the switch today.
