No because a lot of anime is 10bit h264.

I think it's powerful enough yep. Install minimal debian + X11 + mwm for maximum performances

Incredible. I can count the frames dropping from that video.

>2012

No, you'll still have to explain to the people you know why you are watching cartoons about sexualized underaged girls.

Just forget those cartoons and grow up.

mmmmmmmm tsubasa-chan

Holy fuck, is this representative for what those weebs call 'anime'? Because that's worse than I could imagine until now.

Sad

>is this representative for what those weebs call 'anime'?
No, it's Bakemonogatari.

I haven't used mine a quite some time but I remember kodi having addons that were providing streams of your favorite chinese cartoons

Streaming would be a last resort. I plan to watch it locally off my external HDD and USB stick. Can the Pi power external HDD?

You can stream videos but playing them directly will lag unless you play them at lower quality

Damn that sucks. What sort of resolution/bitrate would work?

no resolution drop is worth it, if you cant play it it at 60fps x 4k, just don't bother.

Why would I be watching anime at 4k 60fps though?

Experiment yourself, that's the whole point of a raspberry pi.

Good point user.

It turns you into faggot 16 % faster than regular HD release

Yeah it works fine for all that NEET shit you like to do.

Works great as a home server or firewall too.

seems to work fine. Can not see anything wrong but that may be because I also watch 360 and 480p mostly (upscaled on a full HD and yes I am ok with that quality). Most of you guys would puke because of the pixels but I don't mind.

do you watch older anime or something?

>Not watching boku no pico
