Pretty much. Their CPU is better in single threaded loads, but the sheer number of cores pulls Android phones ahead in multithreaded loads. In storage iPhones are better, but UFS 2.1 phones are pretty close(and it doesn't matter anyways, since all flash storage has low delays).
