My old rig is hooked up to this TV and I occasionally play video games on it from my bed.

Hi, America.

Sure, why not.

>lava lamp
niiiice

I'm losing weight though.
It's not acne it's a spider bite I got on a hike through a spider metropolis.
These are my sleeping shorts, I don't like to sleep nude because it feels weird on my balls.
How can a single piece of furniture not match itself you stupid nigger?

Also America is sweet as heck and the stuff you see on your TV is not at all how America actually is like.

Thanks I actually never noticed it before until now.

And the bedroom TV.

TV is a nickname and nicknames are for friends and television is no friend of mine

Do you have a kid? Or are you just an autistic manchild?

>not HD widescreen x-files

I recently got HBO to watch game of memes and it came with "CraveTV" for free.

I now have all the Star Trek episodes ever made at my finger tips. I spend 8 hours a day watching Star Trek. I'm pretty happy with cable.

...

I don't have a kid, no. I just like the nostalgia trip of collecting tapes (and other physical media) from my childhood/adolescence.

CraveTV is nice for Letterkenny, but besides that it's pretty worthless, especially since you have to deal with Bell. Netflix has Star Trek too, you know.

How do I play Hi10p video stored on a shared network drive?

I want to get a tv. Budget is 500-700 bucks.

What would you recommend.

Maximum comfy. Why not get a bigger TV?

Just go to the best buy and pick the first 1080p without smart functions made by a reputable company like samsung or LG.

wait till black friday/cyber monday senpai

When would that be

>wanting garbage TV made for the sole purpose of being on a black Friday sale to sell to suckers like yourself

Quaint.

The day after thanksgiving in the US.
Don't bother though, you used to get decent TVs at good prices, now they bring in chinese trash brands they don't sell any other day of the year, just so they can put down DOORBUSTER 42" LED SMART TV $150 (BRAND MAY VARY BY STORE)

pay more money then faggot

tons of name brands go on sale

I have one (). I just prefer the CRT in the living room because it takes less space, works better with the furniture in there, and I like watching the big screen while I'm in bed.

I used to have the flatscreen in the living room, but...meh. I think it (the living room) looks better now, and the flatscreen looks better wall-mounted (which I couldn't do in the living room because of the window, doors, and so on).

>sitting at my desk watching a tiny tn monitor is sooooo superior

You again. You really love your TV to defend it so passionately

TCL + Roku TV

>1080pee
Enjoy obsolescence

Nobody makes 4K content, anime isn't in 4K, video games aren't in 4K, I saw some 4K porn once and it was fucking awful.

A lot of shit is still only 720p

going to be ages until 4k is the standard

>flatscreen

$500 is a huge budget, honestly.

You can buy a very nice 1080p TV (not a SmartTV), a wall mount or stand, a Roku stick (or box), cable management, floating shelf (assuming wall-mounted), and still have money left.

You don't even need to shop sales, really. Just don't be a retard.

Well what would you call them?

nice

>watching tv with the lights on

What if I want a 4k meme, because it'd be more future-proof

Don't need smartshit, but basically all uhd TVs are smart now.

Come on, user.

by the time 4k becomes the standard for video playback, you will be able to buy better 4K tvs than the ancient narrow color gamut pigfat junker you'd be buying right now.

Remember those CRT HDTVs?
THEY'RE FUTUREPROOF

And by the time it's standard, they'd be insanely less expensive.

Shit, 4K TVs cost thousands (or tens of) only a few years ago.

Just for (You) OP:

Flat panel, the correct term.

I just like to relax in a comfy chair or couch, look at a 60” screen, and be enveloped by my 5.1 surround sound system. I watch TV, movies, animu and jewtube that way, and I'm not going blind from staring at a monitor longer than I need.

32", 1360x768, low quality, short lifespan, was free, used only for 360 these days

Gaymen will be 4K soon, Netflix and Amazon Video have 4K content (or at least better than 1080p) and 4K is so cheap nowadays that price is a weak justification.

Yeah but I have a 10year old plasma at 720p.

Might as well go 4k than spend more years on a gimped resolution. Especially if I plan to watch 4k movies amd vids.

Some 65" 4k.
I don't watch it.

4K Blu-ray is also a thing.

>Green socks
Milfag?

Games have been 4K for a while (unless you're a console pleb).
