i have not had any problems with mirage
install pix
I use MComix (just drag and drop the folder into it).
It's actually for viewing comics but it's a far better image viewer than most out there.
geeqie
Nomacs
literally don't see any issues with shotwell
It's called feh.
>liking this ugly orange cunt
viewnior
anything that lets you disable useless toolbars is fine.
i use viewnior to open shit from the file browser and gthumb when i have to manage the pics
Feh is amazing you knuckle-dragging winbabby.
mpv.
i use it only as wallpaper manager

Fuck off with this shit, if you want image viewers, just fucking ask.
How?

What is an "image viewer"? You don't have a printer?
Sxiv and ahoviewer
viewnior is good. Does gifs too.
nomacs is god tier viewer and browser you winblows pleb
She is not wearing a bra.
What do you mean?
pix vs gthumb?
Viewnior
Nomacs? That's what I'd use on windows, and it's available on Linux too.
Although the image viewer which comes with KDE is fine imho.
overrated
it actually does have the only good image viewer that is not bloated and isn't an ugly piece of shit, it's called gthumb and windows doesn't have it
XNViewMP
>90% of the image viewers don't even support gif
>none support webm
>feh is overrated garbage
>all other viewers are bundled-in bloatware
not sure what you mean by that
why are android image viewers the only ones competent enough to show gif and webm?
Gwenview
Literally all of them support gifs, or are you talking about windows?
Webms and videos are even shown in the default KDE image viewer if I remember correctly.
Linux has a fucking problem with thumbnails in general.
>not using a formally verified porn viewer

windows and linux. i dont use a DE on linux so that explains why ive never heard of desktop webm support
uhh gwenview is excellent
at least if you are willing to pull down 90% of the KDE dependencies
gwenview has the best resize tool.
Overall it is decent, but it is the only tool I have found that makes better than anything else.
not using a DE means you don't know what software is available on linux?
gthumb is the way to go
my only question is, why can't the competitors into decent image viewers
why would a image viewer support videos or other non image files? some do and i hate that.
that is rather common these days
