I've seen toasters in malls but never seen them in kitchens. We eat French toasts though, I like them sweet with thin slices of ham or soaked in condensed milk/honey.

They're basically incredibly salty and bitter spreads filled with hecktons of umami, tastes great on toast but horrible with anything else.

Main difference is texture. Marmite is a goop somewhat similar in consistency to syrup. Vegemite is a solid paste. To give you an idea unsuspecting visitors from Europe have mistaken it for hazelnut spread.
I understand that Vegemite is more salty but I've never actually had Marmite by itself on toast, only as an ingredient in cooking.
