>A thread died for this.

it's implying basic hygiene standards.

{sage}

I use the pok3r faggot

Where's the vape?

>no IKEA desk with ambilight

>Pok3r
>Expensive

Also Schiit amp

No hipster stickers

-t Beats By Dre by Appul

thats a poker 2

What? They are comfy as fuck.

Maybe if you're flat footed and also wear flip flops all the time

like ipas, have that lamy, and use vim. fugg

whats wrong with vim?

on Sup Forums ?
i would be surprised if any of you autists have ever showered

This is unironically my roommate

Wait what's wrong witch Schitt now? I got my magni/modi 2 for Christmas from my girlfriend last year. And a pair of beyers 990premiums.

Only turbo brainlets can't use Vim

Sierra Nevada is great, a Dutch family I stayed with a while ago got me into it.

It's reddit now.

>tfw i have to shower once a week to get tendies

I wash every area of my body where skin folds over itself daily. I wash my hair every week. Any other body part hasn't touched water in like 10 months.

vim is for brainlets

>Clarks
>Lammy Safari
>Mechanical keyboard
>One stop what ebay was supposed to be Drop
Is this supposed to make me feel bad for being more cultured than a normie but not full on culture-monk?
Vi and Emacs only good choice.

Acme, sam, ed are better.

than vi(m) yeah, but widely accessible on base-installs, no.

>non-chink overpriced board
Nope

>assdrop
Only by necessity, everyone mostly hates it

>meme pen
Nope

>MSI GPU
Why? I also have no idea whether it's AMD or nvidia, but either way I don't see what MSI in particular has to do with anything. Unless GPUs in general are "reddit" now?

>meme beer, meme shoes, random body product
Who on Sup Forums discusses these?

>HD650s
Semi-valid, though really half of /hpg/ will shill for 600s instead, and everyone else on the board will just yell "snapheisers".

>vim
Only valid point. Wow so much in common

>my autism in writing this reply
Possibly another valid point

>Unless GPUs in general are "reddit" now?
I think it's the whole "gamer" aesthetic on products. Honestly it'd be quite nice for nice matte grey/black components and LEDs only for error messages on the motherboard. Wishful thinking, though.

Ed is the standard editor white vi or vim aren't actually in all unix standards.

Alrighty, then that just reinforces my point. You get summerfags or crossposters asking about gaymer stuff here, but they usually get sent back to Sup Forums.

Also motherboards are surprisingly enough not that bad. Mine is a "gamer" mobo, with an extremely edgy name, and it only has a POST-code LCD and a few angled heatsink covers, while being mostly matte black with some beige highlights.

Well to be fair, MSI makes a lot of the really aggressive, edgy looking hardware. No fault of their own though, it's what sells. ASUS is starting to move towards what I mentioned, which is nice. The newest trend I enjoy is tempered glass, it looks really good.

Also that's a pretty motherboard.

thank god i dont have a single product in this picture

Everything about that image is faggy and gay.

>beyers 990premiums
utter garbage headphones. way too sibilant and they hisssssss.

3/9, wouldn't mind being 5/9 (are those shoes /fa/? should I into something like those?).

Nothing wrong with Vim

Emacs>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Vim

>Also that's a pretty motherboard.
T-thanks senpai

>gvim

That's entirely up to personal opinion desu.

Although I've been considering switching to either evil-mode emacs or spacemacs for some time, just to see what they're like, but haven't gotten around to it yet.

That's...
That's fucking disgusting my dude.

>are those shoes /fa/?

they're what redditors in flyover states wear when they're just getting into not dressing like a retard

>fountain pens
I agree that they're cringey, but I don't see what's wrong with reducing waste and enjoying cheaper cost of ownership over its lifetime? I got myself one of them for $15 or something awhile ago, and I've spent maybe less than $5 on ink over the course of 4 years.

There just seems to be an infinite supply of free pens from hotels, conferences, etc. in my house, so I don't remember the last time I had to buy pens or ink.

On the other hand there seems to be a bottomless sink for mechanical pencils somewhere, because I buy new cheap packs regularly and I still can't find any whenever I need one. Maybe I should actually invest in a fancy pencil, which might at least motivate me to keep track of where it is.

>IPA
instant way to detect a pretentious faggot

>tfw I have the exact same lamy pen, senheiser 558s and a pure pro keyboard
pure coincidence

Can someone please fucking explain to me why you would buy a keyboard that doesn't have a numberpad, function row or navigation keys?
I seriously don't get it.

>not having a work setup

that's not an IPA you unwashed peasant.

>look at these fags
>using keyboards
>drinking beer
>wearing shoes
>what faggots

>>not having a work setup
i think the implication is, that no actual work is actually being done on those setups and they just claim it's for work

>no actual work is actually being done on those setups and they just claim it's for work
So like 95% of Sup Forums?

take that back

tfw the closest i've been to any of these is a gpu like that when helping my bro build his computer.

Pay a visit to your local arts & crafts store (don't give your money to Amazon). They usually have stainless steel mechanical pencils used for pencil-and-paper drafting. Most brands offer quality products on that end, e.g. very low tolerances at the pointy end to prevent lead breakage.

>tfw the PBT caps on my realforce at work are worn down

What should I wear if I want to get into not dressing like a retard?

Fountain pens are not so much about cost, but writing speed. After you find one you're comfortable with and develop a proper technique note taking efficiency skyrockets. The trade offs are of course ink fuckery and constant danger of having it squirt all over you/your things.

it doesn't have mouse support

What do styling products and MSI cards have to do with hygiene?

Also shampoo is a scam.

>tfw my greasy banana fingers fails to grab a fucking pen sometimes and spatters tiny ink globs all over my shirt

>asking for fashion advice on 4chins
>asking on Sup Forums of all places

>set mouse=a

I fail to see how a fountain pen is in any way superior to a modern ballpoint, but thanks for trying.

Honestly, it's not superior. It forces you to sacrifice a noticeable amount of conveniences for writing speed, improved handwriting, and fixing your grip.

I didn't think twice about how hard I gripped my pen until I got slightly older and noticed my wrists hurting while writing. Fountain pens let me grip the thing just hard enough to keep a grip and let the weight of the pen apply the down-pressure. My writing is more legible and I can write slightly faster.

The downside is that I have to go back to my Zebra ballpoint when I have to fill out a legal form (some of them require waterproof or water-resistant ink), jotting down a quick reminder on a razor-thin memo sheet, or anything involving carbon papers.

>literally replying to the post that explains the main advantage of fountain pens
>i fail to see
kys imbecile

I have handwriting worse than a doctor's, and anyway the only time I actually use a pen to take notes is when I'm jotting something down quickly and awkwardly. Fountain pens sound like they require at least some effort to maintain proper angle/pressure/etc, which is way too much effort for my quick notes.

>Fountain pens sound like they require at least some effort to maintain proper angle/pressure/etc
It requires virtually no pressure to let the ink flow out of the nib. But if your daily use case requires very little handwriting like you said, you ought to stick with a quality ballpoint than a fountain pen.

>It requires virtually no pressure to let the ink flow out of the nib
Yes but does that mean it can work with a wide range of pressure, or that it specifically requires low pressure? My complaint is that when I'm seated in a shitty lecture hall with no desks, holding my notebook in one hand and scribbling with the other, the pressure I'm applying varies immensely (and so does the position in which I hold my pen).

What about ballpoints though - is there any advantage to a "quality" one as opposed to the freebie ones I'm always using?

The Poker 2 is cheaper than the Pok3r

>can work with a wide range of pressure
No. The nib releases ink as soon as it touches the paper. If you press harder you're just going to scratch or tear the paper. The way to regulate line thickness with fountains is through tilt angles. I don't think it's worth it in your case - they're mostly suited for long writing sessions with proper seating position or calligraphy.
>advantage to a "quality" one
Yes, but it's overall quality mostly, no technical novelties. Mitsubishi makes excellent ballpoints.

you don't have to put any pressure on the paper (or very little) so it doesn't fuck up your wrist as much

But I don't use any of these things.

>is there any advantage to a "quality" one as opposed to the freebie ones I'm always using?
Their tips don't muck up with dried ink after being left in your pocket for an hour or mid-writing. I fucking despise the cheap ballpoints and how they refuse to dispense ink whenever they feel like it. They also tend to be finer-tipped and require little pressure to write.

>hair product implies hygiene standards
I just assume anyone who has slathered that shit through their hair hasn't showered this morning.

I work at a fairly important asset management company in Chicago, and everyone wears those shoes, slip ons, or boat shoes. I don't buy that they're memes.

the cut on those boots is way too high mane

Nasty
