What is the best version of office ever 2003 or 2010?

2016

2007

Microsoft Office 97

2000

2007

>2003
>not being able to save to PDF natively

2010, of course.

Although 2016 is pretty comfy too.

There is no 'best' in proprietary software. All users of MS Office are suckers.

All downhill after '97

notepad

>mfw coyldn't install Office 97 on 64-bit Windows because installer is 16-bit

Could you get around that with dosbox?

2002. It's 2003 without the dumb gradient menu bars.

Libre

Draw a circle in LibreOffice Writer.

google docs

2010
"Muh ribbon" shitposters are baby ducks or retards stuck in the '90s that are intimidated by change. Not even trolling, I've never heard a legitimate argument that doesn't boil down to ignorance or insecurity.

'07 is the last induced version of Office (no cloud shit)

Any other opinion is objectively wrong except 03 bc it was comfy as fuck

Ever tried to make a half decent presentation with this shit?

Bluury shit

I use 2003. It is ok for me. docx can be opened too.

I know you're trolling but it saddens me that there are people who genuinely think this way.

WPS > Libre > MS 2010 > Google Docs > MS pre-2010 > Open Office > MS post-2010

So you specifically cherry pick the crash-prone
>2003
and botnet
>2010
without mentioning that the best version is 2007. WHO DO YOU WORK FOR

I can't stand how two instances of excel work in 2007. For example, to paste special they have to be in the same instance, but it's sort of a hassle to view workbooks side by side. Of course alt-tab works well here but when you really need to look at both side by side, you have to open a new instance and then lose paste special. This may seem like an extreme case but with all the workbooks I have to deal with an optimize at work, I find it's a huge hassle with 2017
Otherwise 2007 is perfect
For that one flaw though, I unironically prefer 2016.

deal with and* optimize at work, I find it's a huge hassle with 2007*

lmao chink botnet
try harder, shill

Latest.

Office 97 programs run just fine without installation

LaTeX

Go for LibreOffice instead, free and open source software, works well, no adware or botnet, it just werkz.

That is if you're not going to need to use Office in some professional environment.

>That is if you're not going to need to use Office in some professional environment.
We use LibreOffice in professional (academic) environments.

I mean if your environment uses MS Office

>tech illiterate dad has office 97 on his 64 bit win10 machine
>just now realize this
I wonder how he did it

>2003
>2010
neither, xp. libreoffice does a swell job at replacing it though

WPS Office, I use it for my job and does is compatible with MS documents.

>chink botnet
So you're saying LibreOffice is the only good office? I agree with you.

This all the way through.
