you apparently

You, my Moorish friend

>manletugal

Northern "natives" I suppose.

>Who are the shortest Europeans?
>Post map showing height of European males
What is this, a quiz?

There's a NO DATA area

>manletugal

Seriously, that's unironically shorter than the Brazilian average.

oh I thought that's what the countries were called

At best it would be the NO DATA Federation

as a nationality, you probably

as an ethnicity, maybe the samoyeds from northwest russia, like the nenets

Shortugal is real

where the fuck is source for this?
yall need to go to wiki right now

shortbia pls

>Shortbia

lmao wow European people are short as fuck, the only one that's even semi-tall is Holland

>Shortbia in charge of not being short

NO SERBIA BIG AND STRONG OOGA BOOGA DELET

Is this the birth of a new meme?
>SHORTBIA

>1.72

Can someone give me a scientific explanation on why the dutch are so damn tall. I'm 183cm and felt like a hobbit in Rotterdam.

Meme statistics
Historically they have been better off than most people in terms of wealth which means in terms of food and nutrition I think

But that makes no sense as why southern europeans, on general, are way shorter than Nordics. Hell, you Croatians are way taller than Greeks even when you live next to each other.

>The genetic mutation determining iron overload in HFE-associated hereditary hemochromatosis arose in Celtic populations in approximately 4000 B.C.1 Iron is important for development, and iron deficiency has serious consequences for learning ability and growth.2 In turn, the growth rate affects iron status, and iron demand tends to exceed supply in periods of rapid growth.3 We therefore hypothesized that sustained enhanced iron absorption in patients with HFE hemochromatosis might have a beneficial effect on growth.

>Men with hemochromatosis (120 patients) were 4.3 cm taller, on average, than those in the reference population

Not an expert but I know tiny bits about diet and climate having an effect on how tall population ends up being after some time.

>he proclaimed, powered by the rage of a thousand manlets

Gr**ks don't eat enough pork

Just so, but why would Nordic people be so tall in that case? The climate is hard, no fresh veggies year around, just some game, if your lucky, maybe fish.

Mediterranean countries, on the other hand, had loads of meat&fish available all year around.

>spain
>1.78

It may be available, but they don't eat much of it

Even if the numbers are small, just a few centimeters are actually pretty substantial in real life. If someone is 5cm taller than you it will seem like he is towering over you...

Serbia measured but croatia, poland, litvania or latvia aren't what kind of wizardry is this, are we new members of EU and they got kicked out?

idk I missed out on being tall by two inches. Only about 6'2 (about 187cm) and 6'4 seems properly tall to me. I weigh about 110kg though

If the meme maps about lactose intolerance are to be believed, southern Euros can't process milk and dairy based products as well as Nordics and I think they eat less meat and protein/hormone filled food on average as well. Those two types of food seem to be the most correlated with height.

tfw... 177 and 72kg

But why is Argentina so short when they eat so much beef? Not even objectively, but compared to Italy that eats more processed wheat and less meat in general

Hmm I used to be 65kg man. Got put on drugs and put on 30kg in a year or so, feels bad man

Amerindian admixture (yes, they do have it, don't believe in the meme). Amerindians are midgets.

If you were 6'4, you'd want to be 6'6.

No 6'4 is properly tall man. 6'2 is just a big manlet

I have a mate who'd like 6'8 and probably more than 150kg. He's a big guy

>tfw... 177 and 72kg
Are you sami? I'm 185 and it seems pretty common.

explein dis

>6'2 is just a big manlet
You guys will find new ways to feel insecure everyday.

r = correlation value to height, positive or negative
p = statistical signifiance, the lower the value the more significant the correlation

everybody below 7'0 is a manlet

It's just genetics. Same reason why our hair, eyes and skin are darker. We eat/drink dairy every day, and we have meat/fish for every meal, so unless the Dutch have lunch twice they're not miraculously eating more meat than us.

In fact, according to en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_countries_by_meat_consumption we eat more meat than most tall countries on that map.

Cool photoshop, Shortbia

Thanks senpai

>We eat/drink dairy every day

But you can't process it as well. That's the difference. It's going to take you at least a thousand years to fully adapt to lactose like the ancestors of Nordic people did.

>so unless the Dutch have lunch twice they're not miraculously eating more meat than us

It must be significantly associated with their diet though, because they were one of the shortest Europeans not too long ago.

I found this article about the diet of Dutch people and they seem to consume A LOT of milk and dairy based products, so yeah, it must be that: traditionally.wordpress.com/2012/10/13/the-dutch-diet-and-lifestyle/

Southern Euros are going to have to stay manlets until their bodies learn how to process lactose well enough like them.

Lol, no.
Blue eyez blond hair

Very few 'sami' in Norway... about 1% of the population.

pure white italian-spanish blood

...

We had a Dutchfag in school, he was a fucking nerd and manlet

>he fell for the fish meme

If fish made you tall Eskimo and Japanese would be giants

You need ZINC, motherfucker

>Even if the numbers are small, just a few centimeters are actually pretty substantial in real life. If someone is 5cm taller than you it will seem like he is towering over you...

>Shortugal

...

...

I didn't recognize serbia for a moment because it's the wrong shape :^)

lmaoing at t*rklets

The Portuguese.

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_average_human_height_worldwide

At least I'm tall in my country... apparently at 1.80 I'd be a manlet in the Netherlands...

Can confirm, I'm 192cm and feel like I'm tallish, not properly tall

Are you a big guy? Or a lanklet

90kg so pretty average
