t. Iowan.

>Bag of milk
What did he mean by this

No, it's actual milk in a bag. You have to buy a holder for it, then snip the tip to poor it out of the bag.
It's rather silly, but I suppose it's easy to ship.

I'll just use liter, dno whatever you shitfag mean with "bag"
It's round about 1€/L, depends on many factors -> 1.1$

1 euro per liter?
That's probably cheap in Germany.

$0.50 per litre

Considering I'd have to import a bag of milk from Canada, it would probably be very expensive.

We have a supply management system that creates and artificial shortage and drives up the price. We also have supply management for chicken and eggs. I'm actually kind of excited for the TPP because that means an end to supply management.

Quite the opposite here in Europe. Many farmers are currently losing everything because a European law which regulated the amount of produced milk just recently expired.
The dumbshit famers thought by themselves, hmmm now I can produce manymuchlotsof milk, can't I?
Prices are dropping af, and the suppliers can just pick and choose.

fucking 1 gallon of milk (3.8L) where I live is $4, it was $5-$6 just a year ago

must be nice drinking actual milk that hasn't been pumped full of chemicals and hormones and cooked with lasers

no wonder American people look like shit

Usually the more pints you buy the more you save. I often get 4 pints (2.2 litres), which can range between 90p to £1.20 (0.76 - $1.5).

is american milk bad?

almost all of our food is treated with chemicals, preservatives, hormones, and god knows what else. we literally have no idea what they put on or in our food and they're under no legal obligation to tell us.

if I'm not mistaken, there was a law they had to at least tell you it was from China - now they don't even have to do that.

also mind you, the EU and many European countries have an extremely long list of banned chemicals and materials - we don't have anything close to yours.

It costs (a little bit less than) one dollar per liter, be eiter a bag or a carton of milk.

...

Yeah, don't you?

>a bag

>bag
Who sells milk in bags?

I drink 1% ayyyy

Anything past 2% might as well be syrup.

How is fragile bags easier to ship than boxes?

Wow, what kind of food desert do you live in?
At the worst it was $3 a gallon here, normally it is $2.50

Your bag of milk has cumstains on it

My company buys them by 100kg/worth so its probably about $1 for 2 kilos?

Depends where you live.
each state can regulate things differently.
There's a lot of states (mainly in the south and east) that have really lax restrictions on dairy production so you get the horror shows that show up in PETA propaganda films.
Here, the dairy industry has much better self-regulation (less corruption) and regular milk is free of bovine growth hormone and other garbage.

I buy only raw whole milk. There's these days.

1 litre:

They give up something like 2% of the domestic market on the TPP deal so its still gonna be around. Unless Bernier magically gets into power.
