The best fake xp look I've seen, really. The only thing that really looks off are the minimised programs. The icons need more padding on the left side.

So first of all this is linux mint. You can change the desktop background and install a theme someone else made easy. Then it gets fun.
If you dig around in linux's guts you make the start button have the right icon and even change the boot screen. Sounds can be switched in settings without much work.
