I use Chrome and it's great. Google will get my information anyway so I might as well not make my life more difficult trying to fight windmills.

it's actually a pretty great keyboard driven-browser, nice and light weight and runs pretty fast

no greasemonkey support means i only use it for a few things, though

And what seems to be a problem?

backtracking on your fork's main selling point is pretty bad

You mean extensions support? Well it supports pretty much everything you need. How is it a backtracking?

blocking specific extensions due to the maintainer's agenda is breaking the 'your browser your way' promise, but you already know that

Some examples? I'm not really "in the loop".

Firefox and Iridium

You can still install and use it.
I do agree though that users should be bale to freely decide on their own what to use without imposed opinions as long as its not strictly malware.

I'm learning python right now, why does it suck?

What about IceCat and QupZilla?

python itsel if far from sucking, but for a possibly ressource intesive and even more so not very efficient programm like a browser, chances are very high it will suck performance wise (NumPy with C lib and translation aint implimentend in such programs cause of maintainance issues)
