Why are Russians/slavs so good with computers?

Elektronika made some dope as hell hardware

Really it was the game design, not the programming, which made it successful. Consider how many different versions were licensed, even back then, and how many probably didn't even bother with the original software at all.

the USSR was too poor to afford humanities so they focused on more practical stuff.

Kaspersky's AV is still legit

Nice try, Putin.

To be honest, the Russians write some pretty bad software. Like bad as in stealing your monies.

Those damn commies know how to teach computer science:

So compare how russia does CS in schools
>>The core components of the FES >>informatics curriculum for Russian >>middle schools are the following:
. Theoretical foundations
. Principles of computer’s functioning
. Information technologies
. Network technologies
. Algorithmization
. Languages and methods of programming
. Modeling
. Informatics and Society

Versus the US:
>>Concept Outline:
>>Big Idea 1: "Creativity"
>>Big idea 2: Abstraction
>>Big Idea 3: Data and Information
>>Big Idea 4: Algorithms
>>Big idea 5: Programming
>>Big idea 6: "The Internet"
>>Big idea 7: "Global Impact"
Oh and for the US AP test, they don't even have to know any programming languages.

Daaamn, no wonder the US only has manbuns and muh feminazi left in tech.
I'm not from Russia or the standard slav countries but as a western slav we still basically have the same curriculum as the Russians because it's logical and usable IRL.

I'm pretty sure most reputable CS programs teach everything in both lists.

But thats not Il2
