I have 2 C64s laying around but no good power supplies.
NTSC 60hz power supply for commodores are fuckn' expensive. Last dealer I found was asking for $150, while the euro one was ~$25... And if you're wondering, yes it does matter, because one of the singleness generated by the adapter is a 17v AC that is just not compatible between the two.

You can easily power your c64 from switchmode wallwarts. In fact even if your had a commodore PSU throw that shit in the trash and make a new one from modern power supplies. 5v+9v.

It's literally just a 9V AC transformer and 5V DC.It's easy as fuck to make one, you should never use original ones as they suck.
Also, there is no difference between C64 NTSC and PAL units, you can use either power supply with either unit. You could even use a 220V power supply with a step up adapter with an NTSC unit.

Either buy a whole USB floppy, just a USB controller board if you want to use your own (it's no better than a whole cheap USB floppy drive) or a CryoFlux, has the most possibilities.
