i award you no bonus points

i did, nuffin. you open-source fags gotta get on this shit or i fear i shall have to sit through more advertisements.

on a related note - somehow pornhub always seems to be able to outsmart this thing?

use more filters and update it always.

Works fine for me, try enabling more 3rd party filters.

install streamlink

use streamlink or mpv

It works fine, you're just retarded.

stop using twitch

>streamlink

which ones do you guys enable? i just have it on defaults:

Turn off html5 player.

Use a hosts file

Twitch uses SureStream so you can't block their ads, trying paying money poorfag

>twitch

>hehe, hey mom I told this kid to go the vidya section, he doesn't belong here with us cool guys, amirite?

twitch puts ads into the video stream, it's not some shitty overlay. you can't block em.

...

>get off muh tech genius boad

Twitch has ads?

adnauseum+every single filter

They embed their ads into the stream so you can't really do anything about it. You can bypass it with streamlink though.

You know, blocking ads hurts the content creator

(((Content creators))) can go suck a dick if they rely on adrevenue.

>content creator

Adrevenue is the reason they don't have to suck a dick. Thank you sir

I don't think I've ever seen an ad on twitch. Must be a burger thing lmao.

If you can bypass it, then it's not embedded into the stream

Enable everything on privacy and multipurpose.

All of them.

Daily reminder that gorhill should neck himself for choosing such a shit logo.

>t. chris

my fellow

Use AdNauseam instead

UBO runs on third party filters
Blame the maintainers of those lists

I imagine more video streaming services will attempt to load ads through their own servers instead of offloading to specific ad servers. The way it is now you just allow the video streaming servers specifically and disallow the ad servers. If they load the ads through the same server you're streaming the content you DO want however you can't (as easily) block it. At least not with the way they currently do most ad blocking.

ITT: retards

>t. Google shill

>implying twitch uses google ads
ok kid

I'll say it again, turn off html5 player to stop twitch ads.

>using an Adhider

This isn't true, they don't appear on streamlink

twitch 5 extension will now allow ads

Why can't no adblocker block Pornhub ads?

Well yeah but you're not using a browser at that point are you? But you're right.

Your question has nothing to do with technology

>united states

You wait a few days for the lists to update.

Ad blockers are like virus scanners -- they can't stop zero days.

Close, but…
Disable: uBlock filters –Unbreak
Enable: uBlock filters –Experimental

You have uMatrix though…

3d girls have no effect on me anymore

And so should you!

Use mpv to play the streams

I really need to start using mpv. Is there a way to watch private PH videos as well?

Why are so many disabled on default?

I dont have this issue with my adblock plus

>using an adblocker that sells out

?

My filters don't update anymore, I get "Network error". This seems related: github.com/gorhill/uBlock/issues/2985
Someone else had the same issue at the bottom

Solid advice here
