Hello guys i have a problem
i have an iPod touch 6 gen I tried to install the iOS 11, and itunes gave me a error 4000. Later, itunes gave me error 3503 when trying to restore the ipod, and sometimes itunes says that it can not find the ipod even though it is connected. now, my ipod only shows me the screen with the itunes logo and i cant do anything.
what should I do? iOS 11 is a shit do not install it in your apple devices.

i dont have jailbreak. i try to use my ipod without jailbreak
same shit happened with my ipod classic. it would sync songs then just freeze halfway through the sync. you can run a diagnostic on the hardware and see what numbers the hard drive is showing.
otherwise you might wanna take it to the applel store , just make sure to do it before the X is released otherwise you won't be able to get near an apple store for months.
This is a recent issue that is caused by apple's TSS server being down rn. Once the server is up again downgrade to iOS 10.3.3 cuz iOS 11 sucks ass.

I just reset an iPhone 4s after experiencing the 3503 error trying to update to 7.1.2 which is apparently no longer being signed or some shit.
After finally downloading the update, which took me 4 tries, it threw the same error as OP's .
Apple is fucked up.
iPhone 4S should not go beyond 6.1.3.

Funny it is at 7.1 right now and iTunes wants to update it to 7.1.2 even though it is doing fine.
I don't need to update it since a reset fixed my issue with it.

I had the exact same issue, but I read about this on another post and it works fantastically! It can fix this particular error as well as others, even fix broken firmware!
It got my Gen 6 iPod touch out of the same situation, so I highly recommend it.

What the fuck are you trying to say? Either you've jailbroken your iPod, or you haven't.
