Arch is only worth using it your time is worthless.

But that looks like Arch.

What word starts with exic?

>gnome-unstable

...

exist*, you fucked that up royally. Seems like pacman and its users have something in common.

agreed although gnome is a steaming fresh shit

>changes color scheme but not the PS1 color scheme
White is nice but consider something like
PS1='\[\033[38;5;13m\]\u\[$(tput sgr0)\]\[\033[38;5;0m\]@\h\[$(tput sgr0)\]\[\033[38;5;15m\] \[$(tput sgr0)\]\[\033[38;5;4m\]\w\[$(tput sgr0)\]\[\033[38;5;15m\] \[$(tput sgr0)\]\[\033[38;5;13m\]\\$\[$(tput sgr0)\]\[\033[38;5;15m\] \[$(tput sgr0)\]'

xfce is better. that or kde

>switches are literally 1000% as big as the icons.

Seems really fucking weird, desu.

Of course OP is using a shitty screenfetch which doesn't say the font but has some pretty colors to make up for it

So I see you're running Gnome.

Look at me Sup Forums, I just installed Arch - Starter Pack

>GNOME
>bash
>Uptime: 2 hours (the time it took for him to setup AUR and install neofetch)
>Default fonts and themes
>Scrollbar and menu on terminal

bait

Thats not MacOS you faggot

He's not wrong

i just never liked gnome for some reason

bait

Arch takes 10 minutes to install and 2 minutes to install an AUR helper

While adwaita is truly fucking trash, how is scrollbar on the terminal wrong? I think it's quite comfy.

For me and for you but not for people begging attention for installing an operating system.

If you like it sure. I can keep track without it as well. It's not like scrolling stops working without it. It's just that most people don't want or need it but they are too dumb to look at the options menu. In a few hours - when OP learns to theme his new awesome l33t h4ck3r desktop - he'd be asking it over at /fglt/ anyways.

>packages: 742
BLOAT

People begging for attention would install Gentoo. Arch is very easy to install, especially with arch-anywhere.

nicely replicated the default windows 10 ui, faggot

This.

>SystemD
Hah, no.

without-systemd.org

Wait, is gentoo really that hard to install? I've thought the only its difference from arch is compiling software on user machine and therefore not keeping binaries in repos.

Yet this thread exists. Stop trying to defend yourself. Some idiot installing Arch for the first time posts this every day.

There's some extra steps but it isn't really more difficult. Just slower.

The learning curve for Gentoo is much steeper and slower. After a few installs it's pretty easy, though with Arch basically anyone could install it.

I'm defending Arch, not OP. I think OP is a fag.

>Arch
>Not Artix
OP is a faggot

I used to be like you until I entered the Void

and started sucking cocks on a regular basis

Doesn't exist.
You can't have a fully functional DE with simple style.
You have to have rounded edges, smeared fonts, fuckhuge empty spaces, window shadowing. Themes like Chicago95 ain't enough.

im gonna need a sauce on this pape

>what is xfce?

bait
OS =/= DE
but, I have to admit old Windows theme was the best.

How to get the taskbar at the bottom with that "start menu" and pinned programs?

>ops I forgot reading the arch linux news feed and now my system is bricked
>ops I unwittingly installed software with major security flaws
>ops X11 stopped working AGAIN
>"who needs sound anyway?"
>"hey guys let's do our own package manager! there sure aren't enough of them already"
>"building from source? do I look like I want a minimal system tuned for performance to you?"
when will lincux learn?

shit bait

>Themes like Chicago95 ain't enough.

dash-to-panel extension

>>what is xfce?

thanks user

>>Themes like Chicago95 ain't enough.

t. commitment escalation

bait

It isn't. See pic

>You can't have a fully functional DE with simple style.
xfce
>You have to have rounded edges
nope
>smeared fonts
nice meme
>fuckhuge empty spaces
xfce =/= gnome
>window shadowing
1 checkbox and it's gone

wew that was hard

nigga that's plain cinnamon

>DE: Gnome
>Cinnamon

nigga what

Retard

Isn't that font Cantarell? Most linux users should know that

That isn't Cinnamon, it's Budgie

>It isn't.
It doesn't look similar enough to Windows 95. Start button doesn't look like a button, scroll bar looks squeezed... There aren't any GTK application on the screen with buttons and such to continue writing what's wrong here.

Made a few adjustments. It's looking better, but still not quite there.
